Speaking of Quez.  He was injured on a cheap shot where the KC DB hit him through the back of the end zone well before the ball arrived. Flabbergasted the back judge didn’t see that.

Hurts fled the pocket

Seems to be more Howie Roseman square peg round hole stuff.

How is that Howie’s fault?

Barnett is in his 5th season, Dillard is a rookie.

I usually agree with you but dillard is not a rookie. He hasn’t played much. a rookie doesn’t get 3 off seasons with his team, doesn’t get 2 off seasons of NFL training noor learning nor being in the building for 2 previous years.

will he get better playing more? We hope. There’s also more tape that’s going to come out and he’s going to have to make some adjustments to hope teams adjust to him as well.

im not saying he’s played poorly or even good. I think he’s been competent out there. Which right now is good cause you just need to get mailata and lane back out there.

I have no idea how that play wasn't a penalty.  If you watch the video of DeVonta Smith's snaps Hurts had him wide open on a slant and should have hit him for an easy TD.

He hired a DC that is making his best player change, instead of hiring a DC that is building the scheme around that player.

Jalen Hurts has more starts that Dillard in his career, and people keep saying he is a rookie.

Because when your QB flees the pocket he becomes a runner. DB"s can make any contact they want at the point with WR's even though the QB is still behind the LOS.

Sirianni hired the DC. Cox isn’t the player he used to be. Why would we hire a DC based on Cox?

To be fair Cox hasn’t been as impactful last few years. I’d say Hargrave is teams best player currently

Curious wording there.

I don’t. I think it’s stupid that people do. He’s inexperienced as a starter. That’s different then being a rookie. He’s not a rookie. Rookies don’t get the benefit of playing 4.5 games, sit on the sideline for 11.5, be in a nfl building with their team, see the ins and outs of the nfl and can strictly train for their job for an entire year prior.

the better term is inexperienced as a starter. A rookie never has had experienced the nfl his entire first year in terms of playing, learning, being around the league and in the organization. It’s brand new to them

If people want to do that then mahomes was a rookie in 2018 when he won the mvp and should’ve won rookie of the year. He wasn’t even though he only started one game in 2017

Cox  isn't the teams best defensive player, he's the most expensive not the best.

Gotta be a family member in very dire health situation that could pass any day now.

Rather see the young guys play anyway, season isn’t going anywhere but to high draft picks in regards to Lane.

I’m pretty sure much of Hargrave’s production is due to Fletch drawing double teams.

I guess the linebackers, secondary, and second string D-Line is so bad that they aren’t even worth critiquing.

And Jalen Hurts is in his 2nd, and has more starts than Dillard.  So people need to quit saying he is and comparing him to actual rookies.

Cant be true, people were calling Nick a liar because Lane wasn't there yet when he said he would be at some point in the day.... The day ends at noon you fool!

I bash howie for a lot of things but i would’ve hired Gannon without asking Cox. Gannon was always going to have ups and downs in his first year as a DC. Cox likely gone in 2 years as there was a belief in the building he was declining already and chance he’s not here long term past 2022 when we are rebuilding (granted we tend to kick the can down the road with restructures so there’s that)

This.... I'm not building the future of my team around a 30 yr old DT. He is supposed to be an elite player let him make the adjustments if he wants to stick around.
