Over-simplistic ... but it's probably the last place I'd want to work if I was an NFL QB.  That division was always the black-and-blue division partly because of climate; much easier to develop a mashing, pounding offense than a throw it all over the yard one because of conditions

Over-simplistic yet accurate answer is they always have ish QB's.

Hurts clearly out of the pocket. The push was well before the throw was released so not DPI. No call was the right call. Why Hurts threw it there? No idea unless he thought it would draw a penalty.

You are right I thought the push started before Hurts left the pocket.

Idk Trubisky won the Nickelodeon mvp award and got to to playoffs with Nagy as head coach lol

Simpler answer.  Their QBs have sucked.

Not sure what the Jaylon Smith consensus is on here, but he’s been terrible for around two seasons now. Stay away.

I identify not as he/him but as fat/tubby

Speaking of Quez.  He was injured on a cheap shot where the KC DB hit him through the back of the end zone well before the ball arrived. Flabbergasted the back judge didn’t see that.

As a DB you're taught to do that 100% of the time though in those situations where the QB breaks the pocket and everyone is free game.

Kind of obvious by schefter but here it is anyway

"We've always talked about how they're aggressive. They're aggressive to try to win, but I would think they would be aggressive to try and turn it around, too.

"[...]

"If they were 1-6, and that would bring us up to the trade deadline, which I believe is Nov. 2 or Nov. 3, right around there - so three games before the deadline, right? [ed. note: there are 4 games before the deadline] At 1-6? I don't know if firesale, but yeah, they're sellers. At 1-6, they're sellers."

Eagles still don’t have a WR with over 90 receptions in a season. Top 3 spots belong to Ertz and Westbrook.

Smith will hopefully be the first.

Send Slay to the Bucs for whatever you can get, hopefully a 3rd rounder.

More evidence of Jalen Hurts living rent free in your head it seems.  I don't see anyone in this thread calling him a rookie, only you and others whining about it.

So when you made a post comparing Hurts to four rookie QBs, you were just being disingenuous?

I haven't gotten to quit my day job yet!  Clocks ticking at 37!  I might have missed my calling.

Are you being disingenuous acting as if I compared him to only 4 rookie QBs? I've compared him to all of the young 1st and 2nd year QBs.

Slay, Nelson, Harris, Sanders, Barnett(lol), Ertz.

Anyone else to trade?

How is that even possible.

Cutler was close in 2014 with 3812yds. Cutler actually had 4526yds with Denver in 2008 lol

Seems to be the consensus, at least in blog. A few vocal minorities

Can’t move the entire team

Not sure it's doable with the restructure but not 100% sure.

Would be wise.  This draft is supposed to be loaded, the more picks they can put together for it the better for this team's rebuild.

If Hurts learns how to sit in the pocket when there's no real danger, watch out. His OL is good!

Brooks is eliminated cause of his injury. I’d also say lane is unlikely to be dealt.

Cox, Dillard, maybe Brooks if he is back and playing by that point (long shot).  Sanders also makes a lot of sense.  I almost halfway expect him to be the one to request a trade by the deadline.

Also I wonder what the selling price on Hargrave would be.  Clearly our best defensive player but only another year under contract after this season and he turns 29 in February.  Our team clearly is not contending this season.  Guess it comes down to if you think they can contend next year and if so you keep him or if a team comes at you with a 1st or a 2nd for him do you bite on that selling him at his high point?

Honestly, I'm open to trading Sanders. He's nearing the end of his contract, we barely use him, Gainwell is legit and will only get better.

Might as well maximize his value value.
