As much as I love an opening scene of some dude getting his hog stroked, I turned it off after about 3 seconds.

I met him before and he hinted at trying to expand overseas, so he could just be trying to reach a new audience. Also my wife said certain things from the books are changed for the movies and what they change plays into the location.

I just finished The Staircase documentary.  It was interesting, but 12 episodes was way too long.  Documentaries that were awesome were Wild Wild Country, Making a Murderer, and Evil Genius.

Anyone seen Paradise PD?  After F is for Family being possibly the funniest animated show I’ve ever seen, I’m willing to give some of the other animated shows a shot.  The opening scene sure delivered. 😂

Finally got to see Atlanta on Hulu.  Wow, what a great show.

Currently binge watching "Alone". Its like Survivor on steroids.

There’s also a new season going on right now on History - it’s good - one of my favorite shows

I started with the first TPB movie first but you've heard enough talk about the series that it may be better to go in raw. The movie, though good, was tamed down a little.

Man, any time Smokey was on screen it was almost an automatic laugh.

As for Trailer Park Boys, start with season 1 of the TV series. It's one of those shows that definitely gets better as it progresses.

UFO, Salon owner (most likely) killed by soon to be ex husband, French family murder, Alonzo Brooks hate crime were my favorite probably. Didn't see the last one yet.

I watched the first two and the UFO one over the weekend. Good stuff, I hope they do more. I like a good crime/weird doc that's 45 minutes or less. Only thing I hate is some legitimately bother me and I want answers like how that guy jumped off the hotel.

i have hope on the hate crime episode with Alonzo Brooks. It just feels very True Crime-y and a lot of podcasts dwelling in that stuff have worked to gain traction on these things over the last few years, specifically Up and Vanished with Payne Lindsey. Already going through that Reddit thread on this episode you see all the posts from people saying "oh yeah its this Family who runs that small town," with people saying they more or less have admitted to it over the years. So hopefully this gets the ball rolling again and some charges can come out of it.
