Netflix Instant Recommendations

I can’t believe there hasn’t been anything on the Dahmer series. It’s the best horror series I’ve ever seen on Netflix. Evan Peters makes me actually believe he was Dahmer.  They spent a lot of time on this one too, because his apartment is identical to the pictures and everything according to the police reports………..my friend told me.

Also it took me until episode 5 to realize that Dahmer’s stepmom was Molly Ringwald. Whoa!!

Another edit!  His real drugged out mom in the show was that biznatch from Astoria from Kindergarten Cop that hooked Arnold and had the psycho husband!

I mentioned it but I realized just now that I was brought it up in the blog. Not here.

It looks incredible.

Peters is a great actor. Probably gonna win a lot of awards from this series.

Also, just watched this about an hour ago. Its not the trailer. Its Peters talking about playing the role.

New anime show based on the game Cyberpunk 2077 is supposed to be amazing. Might have to take an edible and see for myself if it can live up to the hype.

Saw the first 3 episodes and its pretty cool.  It mirrors the video game a lot so if you played that it will be extra fun.

Blonde is stellar, they really knocked it out of the park.  One of the better biopics I've seen.

I understand not putting a lot of the actual acts and glorifying dahmer with gore porn. But the show is kind of boring.

You have to really appreciate the acting of Peters. Theres really no other reason to watch.

I read that it is bad. Really slow paced.

And I think Netflix calls it a fictional re-imagining. It sounds like maybe none of it is true story.

Are there any Ana de Armas boobs? If not I have no reason to watch.

She's topless like half the movie.  It's true enough.  Not slow at all.

I dont care about Marilyn Monroe at all. She was before my time, and theres been a million other hot chicks. One being Ana. So Ill watch for the boobs.

Dahmer is boring as hell.  I gave it two episodes. Very slow.

Stick with it.  Evan Peters is amazing in that role and he just gets better as the season goes on.  I was always fascinated with this story growing up so I probably would have watched all the way through even if it was bad.

Do we discuss Hulu here?  Watching Reboot. Has potential. Also love Solar Opposites.

I really really hate that Netflix is not releasing Wednesday until November 23rd.

I would LOVE to watch that show all this month leading up to Halloween. Its the perfect vibe.

Its not even near Halloween. End of November. Its the exact opposite you want to watch right as Christmas season is beginning.

Yup. I thought it was really good. Richard Jenkins also played his part really well.

"Mr. Harrigan's Phone", based on a short story by Stephen King. Follows the book exactly. What's funny is I often picture actors as the characters when I read, and I had Donald Sutherland in mind when I read it over a year ago. He's great in the film so is the kid from "It". Some found it "slow and boring" but I thought it was well developed.

I'm close to canceling Netflix. I barely turn it on over Hulu and HBO or live sports. Is anything good coming out soon?

Dont know whats up your alley. But there are more seasons coming of very popular shows like You, Outter Banks, The Witcher, Ginny and Georgia, Bridgerton season 3...

New shows such as Wednesday, and The Stranger, The School of Good and Evil. Season 2 of Squid Game.

Movies such as Glass Onion: A Knives out Mystery, Part 2 of Extraction

Guillermo del Toro's cabinet of curiosities. Im not sure if its a movie or series but looks like itll be good.

Its been really slow lately. But theres a bunch of stuff Im looking forward to.

This looks awesome to me but I’m sure the preview is better than the actual content.  I like Netflix for documentaries (American Murder, Abducted in Plain Sight, Our Father, Wild Wild Country, Making a Murderer, etc).  Most of them are so well done and shocking.  American Murder disturbed me more than any horror movie I’ve ever seen to the point where I can’t ever watch it again.  I’ll leave you with that nugget.

Also, I just watched The Redeem Team last night.

I enjoyed it a lot.

Most of us know the story. But there was plenty of behind the scenes stuff of Coach K, and old interviews with Kobe, as well as a lot of content from Wade, Melo, Boozer, and LeBron.

I thought it was well done.

As a hoops fan, I think you'd like the Redeem Team documentary.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo is a really good, light-hearted Korean show on Netflix for those of your who can handle watching a woman on screen for more than small intervals (not naming names)

I'm about halfway through. It's.... not great. Not scary or suspenseful really. And just not enough going on to keep my attention for a slow burn. Also the lead characters come off as really unlikable.
