0-0 draw.  Thought the US had the better goal scoring chances, but they were also sloppy with the ball too many times either lacking that final pass or not passing when they should have.  Too many times a US player failed to read a double team closing on them and pass the ball or trying to dribble through too many defenders instead of pass.  Not a terrible result for a young side playing away in a physical and choppy match.

The US should have won that match 2-0.  Im so tired of seeing the US getting bogged down in these 3rd world stadiums.

What the F are you afraid of?  Stop piddling around and go score goals, jesus, the El Salvador keeper was garbage and they didn't even test him a single time.

Against these garbage teams, just put the ball in the box and fire it at the goal when you have a chance.  We're tip-toeing around trying to be perfect when we should just be attacking non stop

Ronaldo slapping that dweeb from Ireland and watching the soul leave his body was f'n hilarious

always been a problem with the sport. So far as I'm concerned, they should do away with the concept of a tie game. They need to change the rules so that someone has to win.

Crazy sheet in Brazil with match stopped after 5 mins due to Argentine players violating COVID rules.

Early test with a home match vs Canada, a rising side.  Canada seems to be content parking the bus and getting their chances on counters.  US needs to be patient, but also need to be quicker with their passing and movement if they're going to find a weakness in the Canadian wall.  Hurts that Reyna is out this match with a hamstring injury.  Pulisic is in, but how long will he play given he's coming off quarantining?  McKinnie out with a team rules violation.

How about the match in Africa, Guinea vs Morocco, postponed due to a coup d'etat?

GOAL, US!  1-0

Aaronson (from Medford, NJ) starts the play winning the ball back off a throw, Pulisic fouled, but ref waives play on and for the first time the US has numbers and a pass into the box finds Aaronson in front to direct it home.

So much for that.  Yedlin gets burned down the flank and his mark makes as easy pass into the box to an open Canadian to thump a close one home.

Getting punked by Canada right now

The energy in the stadium perfectly reflects the terrified, anxious nature of our team.  Theyre afraid to lose, 2018 is like a dark cloud over us right now

We f'ing suck, and Berhalter has no idea what to do

Canada has used all their subs and have fresh legs on the pitch.  US has only made 1 sub for an injury in the 1st half.  Even earlier in the match they were too stationary and now Canada has the momentum.

Hey, here comes 3 subs on.

De La Fuente should have started, Roldan is MLS quality, and Sargent is a forward who cant score

This is the classic CONCACAF game, a squad of 3rd rate players taking it to us, controlling possession and time-wasting as we flail around

Lets hope we can hold mighty Canada to a draw at home

Glad the fans booed, Berhalter is a f'ing clown

The dude acts like a total jackarse on the sidelines and adds nothing.  Most talented USMNT ever, 2 points in 2 matches against Canada and El Salvador

Pulisic was the only player on the pitch for us tonight who can dribble past a defender.  Reyna has that ability, but was out with injury.  This is where we stall on O.  Over the top balls are low percentage opportunities.  We need more players that can create off the dribble.  Overall we lacked energy tonight.  A few players had it, like Aaronson and Adams (who snuffed out a promising attack by getting called for a foul for shouldering a Canadian player to the ground, but otherwise did well to breakup some Canada attacks), but mostly it was loads of passing the ball around with not enough off the ball movement or trying to breakdown their defense by dribbling past a defender to create a numbers advantage in close spaces.

That had to be a political move that. Absolutely ridiculous.

36 games without a loss. A new record.

And yet I'm still unconvinced by them.

Then even more unconvinced by England and their prospects for the WC next year. Bunch of talent that has a bum as a manager.

What I will say is... England were not good against Hungary or Andorra but they still battered both. England sides of the past would not have done that. They'd have panicked.

37 now!

Just got home from work and see we're already losing to Honduras 1-0.  We lose this match and we're in 5th and will be 3pts behind the 4th place team, which is the Wild Card spot.

Looks like the only players in from the last match are Pulisic, GK Turner, CBs Brooks and Robinson, and Acosta.

Damn, Honduras has 10 shots (2 on target) to our 3 (none on target) despite us putting out an attacking lineup with Pulisic, Pepi, and Sargent up top.

The stream I'm watching just stated that in 33 previous World Cup qualifying matches where the US went down 1-0 on the road, that they only won 2 of those matches.

US ties it up quickly to start the 2nd half.  Goal by 2nd half sub (part of a 3 subs to start the 2nd half) Antonee Robinson off a break with Pulisic the catalyst.  Nice strike off a ball into the box.

US attack looks better with the subs.  Pulisic is taking a bit of a beating, though, as our best player he is getting the attention.  We need Reyna out there.  They are a good 1-2 punch and both young at just 22 and 19?, respectively.

And Pulisic took a hard knock and is coming off.  He tried gutting it out, but can't continue.  So now we're without our best player and the player we depend on to start offensive attacks.
