June 21, 2025Jun 21 I actually like Lazar if he was our 6th or 7th BP arm. I actually think he can develop into a second tier bullpen arm. Problem is cause of how bad the pen is he’s asked to be more and he’s not there yet.

He has had 8 appearances since being called up. He got his era down to 3.75 so it’s a start in the right direction.

I doubt they do that and since he’s on an innings limit they don’t want to do it til after AS break.I’d DFA anyway as his era is nearly 5 since moving to the bullpen and high leverage situations he’s only been good against marlins and pirates. However if you are gonna keep him it really should strictly be like how the 08 Phillies used clay condrey. Just long relief or in blow outs. He is who he is. Typically Walker is worse in 2nd half of season so he’s likely to get worse

This month his slashes are .300/.481/1.081. The Phillies really should go all in on Tucker this offseason. even being a LH he’s exactly what they need in the middle of the lineup. F Alvarez their catcher blows but every time he faces us he always seems to hit the ball well.
