June 17, 2025Jun 17 Would you rather have Abel or Nola in the rotation? I know it's a small sample size with Abel but I feel like he'll be a solid rotation piece for some team. I feel like DD is setting up to trade him and it kinda sucks because I feel like Nola is already trending down and we're stuck with him because of that horrible long contract.

He’s already breaking down. Frankly they should want to keep Ranger or Abel. When wheeler retires after 2027, basically have an even more declined and aging nola, Sanchez and painter. Possibly Luzardo if he extends or doesn’t leave in free agency next year. if you deal Abel, let Ranger walk and Luzardo leaves as well you got massive holes. Better off paying either Ranger or luzardo and keeping Abel
