I really don’t trust him to get the RH bat as we’ve needed it since Rhys got hurt. However I’m not sure I’d consider adell major addition. I’d think a major addition would’ve been someone like Kyle TuckerYea I’m not saying Adell is major, I was more on the line with another Castro type player trade. Nothing like a big splash or get excited about

It is very likely alter is gonna be dealt at the trade deadline, and the Pirates are going to get a solid prospect out of it. Meanwhile, the Phillies somehow got a crappier version of Scott KingeryPeople laugh at me when I said at the time that’s a stupid trade. Not because Scott kingery was going to be good, but you already had Castro in the minors and a guy who had more success than Castro in the majors. you should’ve just called kingery up and kept Bailey falter just in case you needed started pitching depth which at that time they didn’t have.
June 28, 2025Jun 28 Speaking of Scott Kingery, Miller seems to be having a terrible season in AA.At 21, Rojas slugged .387 in AA. At the same age Miller is slugging .362 in AA.Hype train might have left the station a bit early on this one...

Then he got hurt in June and it dropped off and just got back from the ILI’d point out it took Rojas nearly 35 games of adjusting to finally get himself going. His first 35 in AA he hit .229/.294/.336/.630. After that he took off. Miller had the same Type of thing happening until he got hurt in June. His first 35 games he was .211/.303/.299/.602. His next 19 games his numbers began to jump then he got hurt on June 8th and tried to play 2 games after and looked awful. But his numbers next 19 games were .275/.383/.449/.832. Problem is he began to surge in May then June he was fine til he had the injury. In the 7 games since he got hurt (June 8) and came back he’s .200/.380/.320/.702.Just saying people last year wanted to trade Miller for Luis Robert Jr, who was supposed to be the "star” centerfielder. He has been bad since a career year in 2023. This year his slashes .185/.270/.584. He’s actually hitting worse than Rojas and he’s on pace once again not to hit 20 HRs. Add on he’s making $20 mil next two years and $15 mil now and giving you worse production then Kepler
June 29, 2025Jun 29 Schwellenbach basically owns the Phillies. Including tonight he has 5 starts vs. Phillies. Pitched 28.1 innings giving up 6 ERs and 30 Ks

June 29, 2025Jun 29 I am not a Brandon marsh guy, but the way he’s hit over the last month there is no reason that Max Kepler and Jt Realmuto should be hitting 5th 6th when they’ve hit like crap for most of the season. At this point with how bad your offense is, marsh has been the one consistent hitter for like the last two months that you should probably move him up to 5th so he gets more at bat than Kepler and Jt who suck.
June 29, 2025Jun 29 lol the Phillies bullpen outside of Kerkering is a Fing disaster too. Romano Fing sucks and Dave doesn’t have the Fing balls to admit he’s Fing toast

Every friggin time there’s no consistency and it’s always the same every single year

We are paying Kepler, Romano, Walker and Ross 42 million dollars. Can get at least 2 players that contribute more to this roster than those 4 for that amount of money.

And Dombrowski has more dumb decisions than good ones in his tenure here

June 29, 2025Jun 29 At least we got this lol. Frankly Phillies should be running away from the Mets with how bad the Mets have been and instead sit .5 game up cause they are about to go 1-5 on this road trip and lost 9 out of 10 a couple weeks back
June 29, 2025Jun 29 Just an above average team mainly because of their starting pitching, with big holes. The younger guys (stott, bohm, marsh, Rojas) just are what they are and what they have been at this point. Trade deadline is everything for this club this year really. I do think they can retool with some big offseason spending and keep the window open though, but only because of the pitching. It’s so good that they’re basically almost a playoff team no matter what as long as they have just an average lineup.

He’s been hitting .320 since coming back. The fact of the matter is Jt Realmuto and Kepler shouldn’t be hitting fifth and six. Yet somehow of the Phillies keep Fing running those two over the hill guys in the middle of the lineup when marsh is hitting damn near .320.Agree with the rest

But even so marsh is what he is. He isn’t suddenly now a yearly .320 hitter. He’s a mediocre defender that hits .260 ish on the year. He’s fine if he’s your third outfielder batting 7th-8th. Otherwise you’re just asking too much of him.

You’re either believing the next wave of guys coming next up end of this year/beginning of next year will be good enough to get you over the hump or you have to trade them away to get good players. I’m not even sure what the right answer is.
