Could easily get 5-6 top tier prospects, trade marsh and Stott probably could have a nice haul of prospects to rebuild the farm. I’d prefer it not being Dave doing it and letting someone that can identify prospect better to make the deal. Sadly won’t happen

Zero chance they sell (though I agree with you). It's obvious they can't hang with the big dogs.

What’s sad and ironic is that they wanted to avoid the post 2011 Phillies where nothing in the farm. However they are about to be slightly better prospects than what they were at the end of the 07-11 run but really still going to go through at least a 3-5 year rough patch unless their development and drafting significantly improves.

July 25Jul 25 I turned the game off after the homerun. I knew a 1-0 deficit against a good pitcher was too much to overcome for these overpaid losers.
July 25Jul 25 Like I said, the Phillies refusing to look at the team for what it actually is. They still believe that you could just make the playoffs and get hot. That’s not gonna work anymore because the Dodgers have completely flipped what they’re willing to do and spend and trade to win another World Series. You’re not just gonna get hot and beat them. Because you don’t play fundamental baseball. The Dodgers beat you because the Dodgers are more fundamentally sound when the game is on the line as opposed to the Phillies.The reality is, they should be taking a view from afar and realizing vs current National League playoff teams they are 6–19 that is awful. They should be looking at we should trade guys who have extremely good value in a sellers market to restock a farm system that badly needs it. instead they’re gonna ship out more prospects for a team that’s just gonna get beat in the NL wildcard or the NLDS by a better team because they’re not good enough

They’re gonna say they’re going all in, but even if they go all in they don’t have enough to get the guys they need to overtake the Dodgers. Not only that the Dodgers because they have a good farm system, they are going to also add. So whatever you add, they are also add. so the traction that you’re gonna gain is not gonna be as much as you think. Add on Will Smith, Snell and glasnow are going to return as well. So they’re gonna be significantly better.

July 26Jul 26 Should be sellers. Even if they somehow got Buxton it’s not fixing all their issues. They aren’t beating the dodgers or frankly brewers. Heck they are 12-27 vs playoff teams.
