How high is too high to draft a QB?  2nd round?   Don’t trust Minshew or Book.  Hurts, like Wentz, gets hurt a lot.  And QB factory.  I’d go 2nd round or the 2nd 1st round pick.

I'd save the pick and undertake a salvage project on one of the first rounders from recent years that will get cut.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Regarding the NfL Rigged question...

They have a mandate to grow and sell the game..expand overseas, South America, these guys are playing the long game.

I firmly believe there is a discussion(s) about what matchups will garner the best viewing numbers. Starts with scheduling.

Outcomes may not be scripted but a tweak here and there can change a game's complexion. Throw the Flag, or don't.

It's been said before but a Multi Billion dollar business does not leave a lot to chance. Steering the result must be considered..if a Team can overcome the "steering" so be it. They will have earned it.

New York should have chimed in on the sideline catch that wasn't, in spite of Shanahan not challenging. They didn't. We won. NFL  wanted it. They got it.

It's like trying to outwit the Oddsmakers in Vegas...you can't, they're too good at their job, subtlety and results..I'm not discounting real competition, just saying the End Game is to have the most desirable Teams in the Big Show...ratings, visibility, money. NFL Wins...

Always.

There wasn't time for that.  NY only overturns with expedited reviews in the case of turnovers/scoring plays from what I've seen.   And the Eagles got up to the line within 20 seconds and snapped the next play off.  So, NY would have had to make the decision and inform the referee of that decision in less than 20 seconds.   That's a lot of moving parts in a very short window, and it was only 'obvious' from one angle that I saw.  Other angles were completely blocked, and even now, there's a chance that his hands MIGHT have been under the ball even as it appeared to be on the ground.  But, we never saw that replay in slow motion to confirm that his hands weren't under it.  And they need clear evidence that it definitely wasn't a catch to overturn.  That play wasn't an obvious one, and frankly, I don't want NY calling to games and 'correcting' things.  Shanahan had the opportunity to challenge.  He chose not to weighing the timeout versus the change of possession.  In his view, the risk of losing a timeout wasn't worth the change of possession.  That's 100% on him.

Alright...I'm going to talk offseason in a week leading up to the freaking Super Bowl.  But that's what I love scheming over.

Let's say the Eagles win.  Kelce is probably gone.  BG would be a retirement risk.  Lane, Cox, and Suh probably still want to play.

3 players of ours scare me...Hargrave, Bradberry, and Sanders.  2 guys over 30 who just had career years and a RB who just had a career year.  Let them go get a combined $50m per year elsewhere and devour those comp picks.

CJGJ...25 years old after a career year...he stays.

Channel all the Hargrave/Bradberry/Sanders money (and defer the Hurts extension money) into 1 player...Daron Payne.  Instead of putting so much money into retaining aging players that may not repeat 2022, condense it into a younger player who will actually upgrade a position.  Payne/Williams/Davis could be incredible.  Then spend the draft getting premium talent as the positions with departures.  Even if it takes them a year to acclimate, I'd rather dip back a bit in 2023 (likely anyway) and be locked and loaded the following year than end up screwed long term with the over 30 extensions.

I think Lane has mentioned he wants to spend more time with his kids

I don't think I'd go that high but I would like a legitimate QB prospect in the building and not another Ian Book, Nate Sudfeld, Clayton Thorson etc. Ideally, it would be like AJ Feeley. Develop him where he can competently step in if needed and also have the optionality to trade him for a profit if it makes sense.

Kinda odd they are doing it on a practice day when Colts are doing 11/12 hour interviews this round.

So what was Gannon doing there?  What are the circumstances of that video?

Was he driving into the facility, or is he just randomly driving around talking to fans?

I'd give serious thought to Hendon Hooker if he's still there at #95.  I think his age and injury will push him down; his tape is really good.

Thanks for that.

At the risk of offending you, I must say that seems somewhat naive...

You must agree the Suits sitting around in New York have more input (video) than the telecast offers us. These guys are orchestrating a Multi Billion dollar enterprise, 52 cameras rollin non-stop per game, how many times have we seen footage from the Pylon Cam...not much, only when it suits them to show it...

That (non) catch should have been ruled incomplete, even our TV playback showed that. Challenge irrelevant. Refs blew it.

All of them.

Rather use the money in 2nd tier FA that may have upside rather than giving Payne a huge contract.

He's an average pass rusher, good against the run though.

Looking through that list a couple older guys that could Interest Howie in one year deals to replace bradberry are Marcus Peters and Patrick Peterson.

I also really like the edge from Houston, I'm not going to attempt to spell his name but he's young and could be a good piece to add to pass rush.

He was driving in his car just outside of Wells Fargo Center, he lowered his window and said "We are gonna F'ing gut these guys" then rolled up his window and drove away.

If you like him and want him on the Eagles, you're eventually gonna have to learn how to spell his name...:P

But why was he there???? Was there an eagles game or something? I don't understand why he would be in the area on a Sunday.

Why would a current player take shots at coaches? Who you might have to work with later

Do we know the jersey color yet?
