I don't watch STs as closely as some of you guys do, but Bradley has never jumped off the screen there.

Absolutely agree. Sirianni mentioned Christian Elliss in his press conference yesterday saying how he initially made his mark on special teams and ended up getting promoted for that. And man, do I agree with that. He just flashed that first game. I think it was the Bears game. He flashed more in that single game than Bradley has in three years.

It's almost like Eli played in a completely different era than Troy, one where flags for late hits on the QB and blows to the head were more strictly enforced.

Yeah, and passes were more difficult to complete — yet Aikman has a better completion percentage playing 15 years before Manning — which was my original point.

You’re going pretty far down some rabbit holes trying to represent that Eli Manning was a messiah among scrubs, while Aikman was the caretaker of an all-world, all-time great-everything offense.  The truth still remains, in a vacuum, Aikman was the better QB by quite a bit.

Predictions for Sunday's game thus far are:

If i remember hearing correctly since he was still on a rookie contract the fines can be waived. Whereas Chris jones isn’t therefore can’t be waived.

Correct

I thought hold out fines weren’t able to be waived.  Per Rappaport:

More: Nick Bosa gets $122.5M in overall guarantees and the team will waive all fines.

No worries.  If the 49ers don't like a rule, they'll just whine until it gets changed.

Incidentally... if the current rule was in place at the time of the NFC CG... nothing would have changed for the 49ers, because they didn't even have a 3rd QB on the PS, let alone the roster.  They would have needed the NHL 3rd goalie rule, where if the top 2 goalies are injured, you can pull someone out of the stands.

Clearly you are not reading my posts...

I agree that it should be aikman, but looking solely at win/loss record is kinda dumb here considering aikman was on one of the all-time stacked teams in the pre-salary cap era.

Do you think maybe it's within the realm of plausibility that aikman was both the better QB by quite a bit, while also being on the better team by quite a bit? Not sure why you think it has to be mutually exclusive. Not once in any of my posts did I anoint Eli as a messiah, you've made that up entirely to suit your argument.

Wow. Forget the Eagles’s spot for a moment… Atlanta is a tier above NYJ? Dallas is 3 tiers above SF? Green Bay is 4 tiers above the Commanders? Seattle is 4 tiers above the Ravens? This is kind of bananas

26-21 good guys
