I can’t believe Flyers won that. From the 3rd Period on it felt and looked inevitable. Vladar stole that game.

Bernie was watching over us. 1 goal to move on. Yorks 1st goal of the playoffs.

York’s 1st goal since January 21st

Lol who says that anymore? Stats already showed that he can but just doesn't

Which is far more infuriating, IMO

The Flyers have never lost to the Penguins in the playoffs since Cosby was drafted.

Yep, except for 2008, 2009, and 2018 when the Crosby led Penguins team beat the Flyers in the playoffs.

Wicks is the new Jabar Gaffney.

I was excited when we got him - thought Lito and Gaffney would be all motivated playing with their cousins.

But then they fell out and Lito sued him for car damage or something - weird story.

Dotson was rarely open in the middle and Patullo rarely called slants. Not on Hurts.

Good news, @HazletonEagle , another series

About the only hope for Dotson is that he ran his routes half-arsed because he was rarely was targeted and will now have more effort and attention to detail in Atlanta. There was pretty much nothing on film here that earned him that contract from Atlanta.

He was failing in DC and failed in Philly. How Atlanta thinks he can do better there is surprising. He’s a decoy at this point. Can’t separate and can’t block.

RIP David Allan Coe. His rendition of Steve Goodman’s "She Never Called Me by My Name” is classic. (Goodman is obscure to most, if you ever get a chance, give him a listen. One of my favorites is "Chicken Cordon Blues”).

2018 might have been the last time PIT advanced in the playoffs for any of their teams.

Well OZ did a lot better there than here. So the fact that they are literally rinsing and repeating speaks to their confidence in the Eagles getting the most out of wr3.

Jeremy Fowler with some intel on a couple of picks…

Second-round tight end Eli Stowers (Vanderbilt) was widely considered TE2, but multiple teams viewed him as a big wideout, similar to Michael Pittman Jr. That will give Philly flexibility in how it uses him. A few teams had knee concerns with Stowers due to a past injury, but by all indications the Eagles did not, and the issue is considered minor (he was durable throughout college).

Georgia guard Micah Morris in the sixth round shouldn't be overlooked. Multiple veteran scouts believed Morris had some Day 1 features, but questions persisted about his work ethic in Athens. Luckily for Morris, the Eagles' SEC culture -- six Alabama players and five Georgia on the roster -- should help with accountability. "Once money's involved and you can be fined for showing up late, maybe he'll turn the corner," an NFC exec said. "But he's light on his feet, he's got bend, power, legit SEC starting guard."

I did say before Brown was extended that his brand of talent and playing style would not age well. I was uniformly dismissed and told I was wrong. Now everyone is talking about how steeply he has declined and will be a shell moving forward.

He did lose a step. If he could concentrate/care better, he'd still be a good WR, no longer a great WR. His contract is no longer top 5 too, ie no longer elite money.

AJ can still win in the short game with his size. We also didn't see a ton of man-coverage, ie what he does best.

In the 1997 season where Jerry Rice missed almost the entirety, SF went on an 11 game win streak. In 2006 after TO left, Mcnabb put up career highs in TD%, AY/A, yards per game (ypg was higher than 2004, but the game he got injured dropped his average significantly), and the second best passer rating of his career. There is a phenomenon where a QB is so dependent on a #1 receiver that they diversify and improve after that player leaves.

Being a casual fan of both the NBA and the NHL, I can say with 100% certainty

NHL Playoffs >>>>>>>>>NBA Playoffs

NBA is completely diluted today with tanking teams, overall talent distribution, injuries affecting title chances more than any other team sport in the world, stupid attempts at a salary cap, and the lack of star power relative to years past. It’s just all crap in every facet.

I never understood how anyone could watch hockey. It’s honestly crazy to me.

I would rather watch the two worst teams in the NBA play each other 10 times in a row than watch one hockey game.

It’s like the other day when a guy told me he didn’t think Curb Your Enthusiasm was funny. I was astonished.

It’s crazy how different peoples opinions can be. 😄
