At least they come with a built in nickname

"Jalen, How are you going to attack Washington’s secondary this week?”

"Wine em, dine em, 6 & 9 em.”

I'm going to trademark that right now. Thanks!

it's too bad Buffalo already executed that trade. i think they'd gladly give a 1st for AJ given they know the Josh Allen window may be closing in the near future.

It's not like they didn't have a chance to do that already

I’m going hide in the bushes an unreasonably long time until your company explodes and you believe life is great, and then 8 years later come with this evidence right before your 2034 NFCCG and you’ll have to pay me record levels of hush money to go away.

I saw that and knew he got his news from Fran. And as usual he is the most accurate reporter.

He just makes it so FN easy. I almost feel bad for him, but then I just laugh at what a know nothing clown he is.

First of all, a first round pick in 2028 is much more valuable than Boutte and a 2nd in 2027. Second, do people even do any research before they say things these days? Smitty, Lemon, Wicks, Hollywood, Moore, Cooper, Wilson, etc etc. Boutte is the number 4 WR on this team AT BEST. It makes zero sense.

Well that's disappointing

Love the 6+9 combo. If our offense still sucks, at least it will be pleasant this time.

Has a minicamp invite every made the final roster. In fact, how many have even made it to the PS.

Playoff hockey is good because it's tense and every goal matters. Regular season hockey sucks. Honestly, all regular season sports suck except football. And the NHL is such a corrupt league in general as is the NBA. Baseball is the worst. It's such a slog. It goes on forever. In baseball when you get to June you still have 5 months left in the baseball season. 5! That's how long the entire NFL season is. They'll never do it, but they need to cut the season down by like a third.

And the NBA is about to destroy their own league entirely with their new lottery reforms which will make the sport virtually unwatchable and pointless for like 30% of teams.

You know what else is cool about playoff hockey? How the Flyers have never lost a playoff series to the Penguins since Crosby was drafted (ACCORDING TO YOU) despite the fact that they lost to them in 2008, 2009, and 2018 and Crosby was drafted in 2005.

Why? Elija Moore, Cooper, Wilson all cut options to make room.

So we are going to take back a lesser pick to get Boutte to be the 4th or 5th WR? No chance. If they want to throw in Boutte with a first round pick, fine. Howie isn't taking back a 2nd and Boutte over a 1st though.

I still think he will be a good player but there’s something off about Lemon. Like you really asked Devonta for his number? 😄 And then Foles?

It’s like starting a new job and just assuming you’re going to be able to use the bosses private bathroom or something. Not a big deal I guess. Maybe it’s good to have a screw loose.

They have a handshake deal

The semantics surrounding this is laughable. You literally have people saying "yeah they don't have a deal in place, but they might have a handshake deal that should happen after June 1st." Things can change quick (see Crosby, Maxx) but anyone with half a brain can see that the parameters of a deal are in place between the two teams otherwise the Eagles don't trade for Wicks and draft Lemon and Stowers, and the Pats don't come out of the draft having not drafted a WR.

If we are truly being honest with ourselves that Flyers game last night was extremely boring.

I didn't see the first two periods or part of the third thanks to a 4 year old who didn't want to go to bed. But what I did see had me at the edge of my seat.

It’s time to free the other unofficially retired numbers.

Yep, great progress. Now start giving out 12, 25, 91, etc.

Also, poor Stowers. Dude worse 9 in college and gets jumped for the number by Lemon. Right now his choices are 85 and a couple of **** numbers in the upper 40's.

I honestly think he might be on the spectrum so people might need to chill with all of their shade about him being "awkward."

Also, asking Foles for his number was a sign of respect. The number isn't even retired nor should it be so going through the proper channels of asking for Foles blessing to wear it was pretty cool in my opinion. At least he didn't buy him two cases of beer to get the number like Mitch Williams did back in the day with John Kruk.

Maybe that’s the case but I think he’s just immature. Which is ok. And I don’t think it’s a huge deal but I do think it’s funny he even asked Nick. I get he was showing respect by asking but it’s sort of a read the room type of thing. It just struck me funny.

Johnny Wilson.

Right now the only numbers available for a TE are 21, 37, 46, 47, and 85. Also, according to chatGPT, 46 is unofficially retired for Jon Dorenbos which can't be right.

Seemed real inexperienced at talking with the press, but I hope he continues to F with them.

That's my point, people on the spectrum have no clue how to read the room.

Right, right… I was thinking it was still unofficially retired for Celek. 87? This is what happens when you honor guys who were pretty good.

Jon Dorenbaus magic or somebody from way before my time.

Man Morris and Ball are huge. I think we are really going to like Morris. Forthright and seems to have a good personality. Loved that he said he wants to improve pad level and hand placement. Talking about having his feet set and Jordan Davis moved him anyway.

Moronic question that had him talking about playing RG and LG. I do wonder if the rookies want to roll their eyes at some of the moronic questions from some of the Beats.

Nope, for some reason 86 (more so) and 87 are not unofficially retired like some other numbers. Neither is 36 which is weird. Stone Smart currently has 87.
