Yup. If he brought in a DC with a different scheme then yeah, but that's not going to happen and his scheme needs to go, even though the D has played well at times despite it being void of any play makers 3 INTs in 12 games doesn't scream genius head coach material

Wasn't JJAW doing great in camp too?

Ah Spadaro/eagles spin machine.

Didn't Thomas, our past OT, say Dillard did not have the power to play NFL OT (to that effect)?  If he can't beef up to play RT, he should be traded.

Last I heard he gained the infamous 20 lbs of muscle in the off season. Apparently his arm didn't respond well to the added weight.

He looked bigger before getting hurt, and Mailata is just naturally a bigger stronger man as well.

Elijah Thurmond.

Anybody besides me remember him?

What would be the odds that a defensive minded coach would get promoted to DC and then say.... "Hmmm... I just got this job due to my awesome skills as a defensive coach... I wonder if there's a new DC I could hire that would bring a different scheme in here."   Sounds logical.

Didn’t mean it in context of putting forward Schwartz as a preferred option, but I believe if Howie is retained as GM then Schwartz becomes a possibility — especially if he has significant backing from the players.

I’m still on the Pete Carmichael Jr or Joe Brady train, with Kris Richard brought in to run the defense

Have you watched Miami play?

Also, those stars are bad for 6 games!

I live here. He’s played well. Sure it’s not probowl stuff but it’s definitely not nearly as bad as you are making it.

Saints 31 Eagles 13 with Hurts

Zero chance which is what I said in my earlier post.

Matt Tobin was the Mack Hollins of OL.

He lined up correctly...the end.

Here's a challenge. Build the worst FO/Coaching staff as possible for 2021.

GM:

HC:

OC:

DC:

QB Coach:

My lineup would be.

GM: Bill O'Brien

HC: Jeff Fisher

OC: Marty Mornhinweg

DC: Rob Ryan

QB Coach: Jay Cutler

Football for those that forgot.    Washington/Pittsburgh on Fox right now.

The comparison sounds reasonable until you look at the OL:

2009:  he actually made the pro bowl that year based on a hot start, but he had lots of weapons

McCoy, Westbrook, Weaver, DeSean, Maclin, Avant, Celek, Peters - Herremans - Jackson - Cole - Justice

the season to really look at was 2003: 57.5%, 16-11 TD/Int, 79.6 rating, that was the year he had an awful start with a bad thumb.

He had Westbrook, Buckhalter, Staley, Ritchie, Pinkston, Trash, MItchell, Lewis, L Smith, but also Tra - Welbourn - Fraley - B Williams - Runyan as his OL.

I think the Steelers are overrated. I'm pretty sure they will be one and done in the playoffs. Our passing offense tore them up. Think about that.

What did Jamon Brown do? Bring a hooker to his room? Take a dump on the breakfast bar? I'm just curious.

Also, why does his first name feature so prominently in Michael Jackson songs?

Probably drunk as hell and being loud.

I'd like to know too.
