***Important update. I’m at the Wu-tang concert in Charlotte. I’m a 45 year old whiter than white man. I thought this venue was much smaller despite living here since 2010 pretty much. My wife was noticeably disgusted when I asked her if she wanted to join me. 😂 I bought lawn seats bc I guess I don’t work hard enough and I’m a poor @vikas83 , but I’m about to upgrade.

I’ll be turning 60 years old in just over a month and my sister sent a family text a few days ago asking if anyone knew if our childhood home was still standing. I’ve thought about going back to see i

There are far more white people just in this picture than I would have expected.

Have a great time!

Nolan Smith gave a great locker room answer to the Jeffery Simmons stuff.

Said hes not going to do what they did. Ward is a great quarterback. And at Georgia they believed in a faceless opponent. You just go out and take care of your business.

A follow up question he said hes not a big tear people down guy because you never know what somebody is going to do in real life off the football field.

Straight venison hamburgers are not good - very dry and flavorless. You gotta mix in some beef/pork if you wanna use it that way.

I love venison burgers. Spice it right and don't over cook

Where did I have an issue? I said that he is saying the quiet part out loud about it all. There are a portion people involved NFL discourse, the media, including local radio and amongst NFL and Eagles fans that like Herbert over Hurts because Herbert is what "a QB is supposed to look like" and Jalen Hurts isn't. Not everyone that prefers Herbert over Hurts, but that is part of the bias there for some.

He said he is a Hurts guy now because the evidence based on the results of their accomplishments in their career it's undeniable even to him but he was explaining why he and many others are because he is what a QB is supposed to look like and Jalen Hurts isnt'.

Youre seeing it through your racist colored glasses.

He means what QB play is supposed to look like. That is very obvious.

There is no quiet part...

Olovsky replied to the tweet describing it as what QB play saying that isn't what he was saying at all about it. He wasn't talking about QB play.

Tweet says "that's what [playing QB] should look like."

Orlovsky replies saying "I quite literally never said that. Stop making stuff up."

Even in the video as he is talking about he says "And also Herbert has had some really good games in the league" and makes an odd false claim that Herbert has had historic moments in the league. But that "Also then" was a throw in to suggest that yeah the way he played also played into his old belief that Herbert was better but it wasn't really the main background psychological reason as to why for him.

Yes. What I said. You are not understanding because you dont want to understand. You are perpetuating the mistruth that there is some racial vendetta against Hurts.

Some idiot tweeted that there were racial undertones in Orlovsky's statement and implied that Orlovsky is a Herbert guy.

Orlovsky quite literally, and clearly stated that he is a Hurts guy. So Orlovsky told him "I never said that" because....he did not say he was a Herbert guy.

You are agreeing with the idiot that is implying racial undertones. But its completely dishonest because 1. he misquoted Orlovsky. and 2. Its completely out of context.

You are one of the only people here that would be stupid enough to agree with that tweet.

Orlovsky was a Herbet over Hurts guy and that was literally his explanation in the video as to why until he has now recently converted to a Hurts guy.

Who do you think Orlovsky was referring to when he was saying that if not himself?

Its not about whether Orlovsky was talking about his current opinion, his former opinion, or someone else's opinion. The fact is that there was not quiet part. The idiot who tweeted it, and you should not be pretending that there is.

He was not saying QBs should be more white. He was saying that Herbert plays the game the way people like to see QBs play the game. As in- arm talent.

How does Herbert play the game the way people like to see QBs play the game? By being a near 50% winning QB who gets his team to the playoffs only half the game and every time he does goes on to create a new choking chapter in his legacy? No it's because he looks like it physically how you expect a QB to look. A 6 foot 6 guy with long flowing locks of hair or the guy that is 6 foot 1 and built compactly thick with muscle and a goatee?

Each word matters here. "What a qb is supposed to look like” has some racial undertones.

But even you would admit that Hurts does not look like a typical qb.

A 6’1” mobile qb with limited arm talent? Yea, that’s not what a qb is "supposed to look like.”

Limited arm talent is the absurd claim of Hurts haters. There is no limit there. He has one of the best deep balls in the league. We have seen him hit insanely tight window throws intermediate passes ass well. There isn't a throw he isn't making except maybe a 70+ yard in air ball but he isn't going to be that far off from that either (sure wasn't on his TD pass to DeSean his rookie year.

They should rename this section from "Talk About The Eagles" to "Talk About Jalen Hurts". Very rarely do other topics get discussed in here and when they finally do, it eventually just pivots back to more Hurts discussion.
