Omg I fell asleep and missed this. Sorry if posted already but it shows Tom Donahue and Howie in complete disagreement over 3rd round pick Milton Willams.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Could Michael Carter be in play tomorrow?

Would love to get some extra juice in our backfield.

I could easily see Gainwell or Carter be picked as passing down backs.

I’m fine with doubling down tomorrow with Nixon also.  I forget who and will try and find it but they had him as the number 11 overall player in the draft.  That would be a solid 4 at DT

Eagles remaining picks:  here's what I am looking for

4th Round: Gotta protect the QB and a huge guy from tiny school of Saginaw Valley State - Todd Herremanns
5th Round: This is a tough one, two Bearcat greats to choose from, I'm going with Brent Celek over Trent Cole, but its close
6th Round: Going back to the Bearcats, give me Jason Kelce
6th Round: Resurrect the FB position, we need Cecil Martin
6th Round: Let's add to our DT rotation a bit more with that enigma, #91 Andy Harmon
6th Round: This wasn't an easy decision, but we need help at RB, bring on the Sherman Tank - Heath Sherman
7th Round: We need to solidify the bookends of the OL even more and get younger and more athletic, double dip with Jordan Mailata
7th Round: The CB position is weak, and we need a band-aid.  Jalen Mills was good enough to get us through a SB season, get him again.

I think that would be a pretty good use of the 8 picks we have tomorrow.

Not sure if legit...

If true, Slay just dropped some massive coin.

9th Round: Can't have enough pass rush - Clyde Simmons

OK.  Forget my misgivings on his injuries.  He's got the personality the Locker room will need when Kelce leaves.

Honestly though no one looked thrilled/excited in the room but Howie. Think Howie and the Analytics guy went rogue on the scouts. I had Williams in the mid 4th round. Can still be a nice player but the reactions in that room say a lot.

He does this every year. Then finds ways to absolve himself when it doesn't pan out. It would be amusing if it wasn't so predictable.

Trill Williams is of interest tomorrow.  Good height weight speed guy.

Mayock has 0 awareness of positional availability

Kiper posted his pre-draft favorites on April 19th.  Only one player per position.

Center

Landon Dickerson, Alabama
Dickerson is a leader. Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide staff rave about him. He's going to make a team better on and off the field. After starting as a true freshman at Florida State, he had some injury issues and transferred to Alabama, where he won the Rimington Trophy Award last season. Dickerson tore his ACL in the SEC title game, but he's already healthy enough to reel off a few cartwheels last month. If he can stay healthy, he'll anchor a team's offense for 10-plus years.

Projection: Dickerson could sneak into Round 1 for a team that needs a center, but he's likely to be a second-round pick.

Defensive tackle

Milton Williams, Louisiana Tech
Williams plays his butt off, and he has some positional versatility. At 6-foot-3, 285 pounds, he could be a 3-technique tackle in a 4-3 or an end in 3-4. He's active and disruptive -- he had 10 sacks over the past two seasons. I think he could put up decent sack numbers if he does play as a 3-technique. I would want him on my team if I was a general manager.

Projection: Williams is likely going to be a third-round pick, but I wouldn't be shocked if a team fell in love with him and took him in Round 2.

Give me Gainwell in the 4th. Give Sirianni his pass catching RB. There’s no CBs worth it at this point.

Has a great personality. If he stays healthy fans are going to wind up loving him

Javian Hawkins Rb of Louisville is a kid that reminds me a lot of Hines for the colts. I could see him being a guy in the 6-7 round they go after

Corners worth picking early tomorrow...

Rochell

Gowen

And that’s probably it

The tough one is Shaun Wade, if he came out last year he was no worse than an early 2nd rounder, most had him in the first, but that hit on Lawrence in 2019 and wanting to graduate from Ohio State killed his draft stock, by returning to college in 2020. He covered the outside and he’s been slipping ever since.  Maybe someone will use him like the Pats use Rowe to cover TE’s, or a lockdown against the slot receiver.  The kids got talent, he just needs good coaching.

Lol lucky you. But yeah that video is interesting.

Looking into contracts for our IOL after Dickerson pick.

Kelce is set to be a FA after this year, him retiring in 2022 is a very safe bet.

Seumalo is set to be a FA in 2023

Brooks (age 31) is set to be a FA in 2025, same time Dickerson is set to also be a FA.

Most obvious scenario is Dickerson takes over at center when Kelce retires. Also won’t be rushed to play and can go thru rehab properly. Provides immediate depth at guard also considering both Eagles starting guards missed significant playing time. Gives the Eagles some stability for several scenarios. Seems like an awesome guy, NFL pundits rave about his talent, Bama players/coaches love the guy.
If he stays healthy this could be a home run hit for Eagles, but that’s such a big if. I definitely like this pick way more than all the 2nd rounds Eagles have made in past several years, but I’m still skeptical at how he holds injury wise.

Wasn’t really on my radar pre-draft, but he did give a great interview on NFL Radio last week.  He does not lack in confidence and kept playing hard in the game they lost big against UAB.  Looking at his film he could be a guy that can play DE and some DT; looks more solid against the run than a pure pass rusher for sure.

Keep picking for value

RB - Michael Carter, Kenneth Gainwell, Rhamondre Stevenson

WR - Tylan Williams, Amon-Ra St. Brown

OL - James Hudson, Trey Smith, Deonte Brown

DE - Rashad Weaver, Cameron Sample, Quincey Roche

LB - Jabril Cox, Cameron Mcgrone, Dylan Moses

CB - Marco Wilson, Shakur Brown, Tay Gowan, Shaun Wade

S - Jamar Johnson, Hamsah Nasirildeen, Tyree Gillespie, Damar Hamlin, Richard Lecounte
