it's part of a group of people that took over the Capital Hill region. It started as protests and then proceeded to riots and some looting there, but ultimately ended up as occupation. Their idea was to show what it could be like without police, but of course it wasn't some utopia that they envisioned. Started well enough with artists painting the streets and people setting up free stands for people to grab things they needed (although unfortunately likely looted, though some probably donated). The problem was it's a known party district and anytime you add that in with no rules, it ends poorly. Basically ended up with anarchy and 2 people were shot. Now the city has stated they will retake the police precinct they left and things will go back to normal. We'll see how the retaking goes but I don't have super high hopes it will be handled well by either side.

At some point, I want to start working on building the boards YouTube channel. I'm not sure what kind of content can be put there to make people want to watch (content that won't bring the NFL down on us for copyright issues). I'll look into restricting political ads, but they're random and I don't know if I can restrict them. One minute you may get an ad from a political figure that you hate, the next refresh of the board may be one for your favorite political figure and the next may be for a Snickers bar. I would hope that everyone would understand that the ads are generated by Google and in no way reflect any kind of affiliation that the site (any site), may or may not have. 

I'll see if Chewy has affiliations and if they do, if they'll accept us. A lot of the non-Sports related sites that I've applied to, won't accept us because we don't 'fit' their idea of what they want their audience to be or who they think their customers might be. Even Dick's Sporting Goods rejected us... which to me, is a bit silly, since this is a sports related site. 

With regard to some of the sites that we don't have affiliations with though, there's Rakuten and some of those sites are listed with Rakuten. So for instance, if you sign up for Rakuten using our Rakuten affiliation link, the board will get $25 and you will get $10 once you've spent $25 (in qualifying purchases).

So, in doing that, say you spend $25 or more at Chewy (after signing up at Rakuten using our link) and you click the Chewy link on Rakten to get to Chewy's site. We get $25, you get $10 and you also get a 3% discount on your Chewy purchase (the discount varies from store to store).  

If 100 members do that (and actually spend the required/qualifying amount), the board gets $2,500.00 and a years worth of hosting is taken care of.

Who's up to do a Vlogcast?

Might be able to get some beat writers on or maybe Fran would come on?

Interestingly enough in the case of wide spread anarchy people tend to form communal or social groups. Strength in numbers and all that, in theory anarchy eventually leads to a more socialist society.

Having said that while im in favor of de funding police i also realize de fund is an ineffective scare word that takes away from the real intent to de criminalize the police and or reallocate those funds to programs that will benefit society not kill them.

De funding police Yes please, abolishing Police, No thanks, while im a fan of many socialist ideas i dont think anarchy is the best way to get there😉

I say let them have their little zone. Since they effectively want to be their own country shut off water, electricity, internet, and cell service. Since they're now a foreign country with no treaties or trade agreements don't allow anyone or anything to cross the border.

Let the rich white kids have their temper tantrum.

Maybe they can apply for foreign aid.

Yep, still some work to do there but it seems as if he's the closest thing to a complete back that we've had in a long time. If he can take another step as a pass catcher he's gonna be dangerous. 

 Fired up to see what Miles can accomplish with a legit deep passing game counterbalancing the offense.

He had one off year where he struggled and was hurt most the year, he even admitted he had a bad year by his standards, but he came back stronger and has been elite since.
