Apologies My intent is not to call you out on nothing we BOTH love this team you know I try to respect most football views on here and you brother are pretty damn savvy...No intent here

Perhaps I should have said it this way, that the new coaches in ATL arrive with tremendous reputations...What Dean Pees did with previous Defenses this guy has come out of retirement how many times ? with great success. As does their HC Arthur Smith who interviewed for the Eagles HC job. Their first game with their new team.

My point was the local and National media have been beeting the Negative Drum about Hurts ever since he ran Wentz out of Philly. This from  a QB who started on Top programs in college. Who after taking Alabama to the National Championship game got crap on by his HC and benched and humiliated at the half.  a hurdle Hurts overcame with class, leadership, hard work and results.going to Oklahoma with similar success ....yet the media and many experts have branded him some kind of loser oohhhhh here it is " Hurts is just a running QB'. So Hurts destroys Atlanta our Rookie Coaching staff are Outstanding in their Debut...And the Haters want to put out...ATLANTA STINKS...Atlanta offense and D has sucked for years...That is the National rhetoric. After ONLY 1 game and Atlanta New, Reputable ,Coaching staff, Their first loss they are branded a sorry team. 1 Game....and this New Coaching staff are labeled a sorry team. Remember how the media and Experts Scoffed at our Birds before this game...Chris Simms who only got on the NFL field because of Daddy...all gotta reformat their criticisms of Hurts...Atlant SUCKS .Atlanta is a bad team is  A backhanded way to continue to discredit the Hurts and diminish the small sample of our Eagles success in Game 1. We know Hurts has to build OUR trust wit Competence , Leadership, and Wins. 49ers are next.

Yes, all true. You should know by now the media needs sensationalism, warranted or not. The more insane, the more "hits' they get. I said it was a game we could win and although I DID call them bad,I meant they weren't that good and we could beat them. I don't care if they are good or bad from here out, they were bad enough we beat them Ignore the media,do your own research and don't rely on the hype they dish out. I saw alot of weaknesses we could exploit and we did just that. They have rebuilding to do. next week we will be tested in all aspects of the game. It will show me what we have and what we still need. The 9ers RB room is in disarray at the moment, that is something we can exploit, then again we need a secondary that can cope with multiple threats not just Ridley which is basically ATL's only star(you know you are in trouble if you are relying on Cordarelle Patterson to move the rock). SO are the Falcons a bad team? IDK yet, maybe they shore up their issues. hard to know after one game. Are we as good as we think? IDK that either but we're going to find out on sunday

Man I want this bad,but we wont see the look on Bosa's face when he gets tossed 5 yards downfield in the air HAHAHA. Hurts gotta be wary awhile until he is sure "the mailman"(this is my new name for him) got him nailed down. Gotta deliver that mail to Bosa this week

Trini, yeah Wentz WAS the golden boy, the "savior" and he was supposed to be that for 10-15 years. So of course there would be animosity. So far Hurts has ignored it, kept up his learning curve and there is nothing better in this world than shutting up your critics and making them look like stupid buffoons. Remember when Dak "sucked" or "would not make it in this, league as a starter?".TOO many examples of this to list. Brady probably the GOAT at that too, silencing critics who now fall all over him. What's important to be is the players believe in Hurts. They don't need a star, they need a blue collar, head down, grind it out, learn your craft, working man and that has Hurts written all over it. Remember the DB year? That was a team that believed. There were no stars(remember?) This is eerily familiar in a GOOD way because we are STARTING out that way. I just want to see good soild play, fewer penalties and show some toughness even in a loss. We however LOVE being underdogs because we always surprise people. Will be good to see how this team functions in a tight game or even behind and how we handle things. I'm not predicting a win,but hey this team has shocked me more than once lol

Like cage fighters, the weight on you takes the gas out of your tank, makes you breathe a little harder. I'm sure he learned this in scrums

Agreed...even if we win Rd 2... and beat the 9ers ... I need at least the first 6 games to get a fair sample size ... A murderers row of games ...9ers , Cowbi/$?es,, Chiefs and Big Red, Panthers,Bucs, and a Raiders team that just beat the Ravens. prior to our ATL victory. Many had us losing the first 4 to 6 games. Rd 2 thru 6 don't see any easy games for our Rookie Coaching staff and 2nd yr QB.

JG presser on PE.com had some interesting tidbits on preparing for the 9ers he plans to be Multiple considering the 9ers will use both Jimmy G and the rookie QB....I can't wait

Dan Orlovsky one of the Haters prior to the Atlanta beat down has this new take on our Birds... QUOTE...The Eagles  have the best lines of scrimmage on both sides of the ball... They are the only team that can play 11 on 11 football...and no one can match up in  man coverage consistently against our WR's

We're gonna need all of that and more with our upcoming schedule.

Yeah this is a really tough stretch. We could be 1-8 although I see 2 we could possibly win. I would be ok if we were 3-8 at that point. I said before I saw 6 wins, maybe 7 with luck. We shall see. We always seem to have the gnats number(there's 2 more). I hope we give Dullaz fits

Saying: "He buried him” becomes a whole different ring with Mailata. 😁

I call him: "The Undertaker”..

So week one, two of the biggest winners on the team were the Undertaker and the Gravedigger (Hargrave)! ☠️

The Niners should likely crush us. They bully with a power running attack. We haven’t been looking good against the run with this new regime.

I think that will be the main concern for the Eagles this week. Scheme against the run. What can we do to plug up the holes at the line? Do we bring in a safety? Last week they had the LB's keep their lanes and we shut down the running game of Atlanta for the most part. SF had a much better running game though... Main concern for our defense. We will see what happens...

Hopefully we attack the CB who is playing for them this week. Lose your best CB and there has to be a weakness to exploit. Something we have not done here for years....

Wilson, our main LB, is terrible at tackling. He was our main tackler so it sounds weird. But that’s because they were going at him because he was missing so many tackles. Avery, I don’t understand why he played all those snaps, isn’t great at it either. Much rather see Singletary, Edwards and Bradley.

The whole issue becomes dealing with Kittle.

They love utilizing the slot also. Aiyuk their first round pick last year and they found a Diamond in the rough out of the slot now also.

We have to focus on stopping one thing. Whether it be the run, or the TE or something else.... I think we focus on their run game. Not sure how well we can do, but if we scheme correctly, maybe we can slow them down enough where they are forced to throw more. LOL that may be a mistake too....

RB room is a mess in frisco. They can't decide who they want. No matter they won't need a running game with all their WR's and KITTLE  38-24 SF. I am being optomistic
