It is?  Care to explain?

Once you intercept the ball dont you need speed to outrun would be tacklers?

This part is kind of the hardest part, especially for a guy with extremely limited experience and seemingly no instincts.

Well, importance of it is sure different depending on if you intercept it in your red zone or at the opposing 1 yard line I’d say.

Love the focus on hips.  Where are your eyes, on the hip.  You can feint all you want, the hips show where you are going.  One of the reasons that Smith gets such great separation is how fluid he can change direction and get a big step towards that change but even his hips tell the DB where he is going.

Are you saying, his Hips Don't Lie?  Shakira is a football genius!

Very true but if we're talking a pick 6, it needs to be returned, which you need speed to do so, unless the interception occurs near the goal line or something.

I'm not saying speed is the most important but it's not the least if you're trying to return it for a TD.

Maybe he gets some looks at S? Not sure how his coverage skills are but would be intrigued - especially in the box.

The bigger question for me is why do people eat something that they know is going to do that to them...

Because it tastes so good

Would come in handy on ST.  A 230-lb gunner on kickoffs and punts would help minimize returns.

Suck it up Fletcher. Happy to show you the door while you still have viable trade value.

Can he even be traded with his contract? Lol

Does it though?   I've never done it, and given the stories... I've decided it was something I could pass on.

I'm sure a SB contender could make a case to send us a 2nd, more likely 3rd if they need a top 5 DT.

I hear ya.  But when my body seems to be rejecting something (which is how I interpret the reactions I am hearing from folks to eating it), I find it better to find an alternative.  And since I like so many things, an alternative is usually easy to find.

Chipotle is a McDonalds offshoot, is it not? I generally steer clear of both.

I like what I'm hearing about Gannon so far. Seems like a creative guy who can get the best out of a lot of guys on the defense. The hybrid sets seem interesting.

Next year as a post June 1 trade.  Still a dead money hit over two years but that dead money hit it there either way. Saves $16 million in salary.

Taco Bell would be the McDonalds of Mexican food in my book.

From Zangaro:

Stupid Observation of the Day: During special teams drills, long snapper rick Lovato helped out by fielding kicks deep. He caught every one that came to him and looked pretty smooth doing it. Hey, if the Eagles ever get in a real bind …

Actually have to write this out;

Barnett Cox Hargrave Graham

(rotate Rook, Sweat, Malik etc)

Then you got

Taylor (weak) Wilson , Singleton?

Nelson, Harris, McLeod, Slay ( Maddox , K’von whereuva)

Yep , on paper, much better unit.
Couldn’t bear to watch last years unit .
After Higbee it just got worse.

Now the big question, are you allowed to hit anybody in the NFL in 2021 Roger?

Yeah and we’ve got the rookie DE’s.

But no clue what you’ve got there

?
