Still kinda scratching my head where the qbs end up

Is there a point in round 2 where the value of Willis/Corral is too good to not try to make a move?

The whole north Jersey south Jersey Giants eagles thing has always confused me, I mean basically its two sports teams whose stadiums are separated by a turnpike no?

North Jersey is a suburb of NYC.  South Jersey affiliates much more with Philly (not necessarily the coast, which is like its own thing).

North Jersey is where the Giants play... because NYC basically has annexed that region for its sports teams, because they don't have the space for them in their city.... and the rest of NY state is actually further than the Meadowlands.

South Jersey folks cross the river and work in Philly all the time... its an extension of Philly.  South Jersey is where the Flyers put their practice facility and where a lot of Philly athletes live.

Not sure what's confusing.  It's all about proximity.   By that same logic, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia are just two sports teams whose stadiums are separated by a turnpike.

Seattle at 40, 41 should definitely take one. I can see NYG at 36 too. Maybe Atlanta trades up for one.

Bad idea. Goal should be 3 starters + Brown out of this draft. Wanna trade down from 83? Fine. But aim for a needle mover in round 2.

yeah. They need another impact player for the defense with this 51st pick. Maybe a little trade down, but not all the way to 83.

Most ideally they would trade Reagor, Hurts, and Dillard for more picks.

I guess it depends on what month I started. I consciously decided to try to limit it to about 1 per week so as not to overload this thread the way others do. In fact, I made a separate thread in TATE for them to be posted in instead, and a mod locked that thread. Check that out for yourself. Proof of my conscientious effort to NOT post too many.

Nonetheless you posted a bunch of them.  Have the kahunas to acknowledge that instead of this constant stream of rationizations.  Admit it, you have a love affair with the draft simulations that, to paraphrase you, you routinely "crush".

Dont want willis. Corral i am meh but at a certain point…

ridder and strong are the only ones that interest me

We should not be trading up in RD2. We used our bullets on Davis/Brown and that's fine. Stay put or trade back.

They pretty much can't trade up. They have four draft picks left and have only made one pick thus far. They might be able to get creative and trade some of their 2023 picks for this year, or even trade Dillard and/or or Reagor. However, they are probably going to have to trade down at least once between 51 and 83 to get back some picks in the late 3rd, 4th, 5th round range.

Where do you live again? I live here and watch the eagles at home all the time. I get pissed maybe once a year when they are playing an AFC team in philly.

I could see seattle liking corral

I could see a team trading up to 33 for a QB

The simplest way to explain it is draw a straight line from coast to state-line slightly below Trenton. Then just imagine we are North and South Korea. We hate them and they hate us.

yeah, their hands are pretty tied right now unfortunately.  Hoping Howie is on the phone trying to unload players without roles/futures here.

Trading Reagor before June 1st is not smart, as noted earlier today.  Furthermore,  trade him for what?  Other teams don't want him as much or more than we don't.

It's confusing if one has never been to the east coast, I was in the NY airport once for about a half n hour and that's it, dont really have much context and I'm a experiential tactile learner, not so much audible/visual.

So maybe if had feet on the ground there I could more easily picture it and understand it though.

Thanks for those that replied though, it's not necessarily something that's covered in high school geography 😁

3 starters is a lot in every draft. RD3 is not guaranteed to be a starter. I do agree that RD2 should be a significant contributor.

So whose the Kim Jong Un of NY...

I could see the Seahawks trading up if they believe the titans are going to take one at 35 and it might be the guy they want.

I’m thinking Willis and Corral  go early

Yeah... that sums it up pretty well.   I worked on that no-man's land border for 4 years.  It was weird.

Of course I do plenty of them. Never denied that. Seems to be besides whatever point was originally being made but if you feel its a small win for me to say that I do draft sims, there you go. Have a win.

Saying I crushed it, or dominated, or going to the super bowl is always being facetious. Same goes for when I started saying you guys arent familiar with the players when people were hating on my drafts. I dont really take myself as seriously as many of you think I do.

I think Ridder might. There’s been a ton of smoke around seattle and Ridder. Bruglar has Ridder going 35 before corral and willis. If bruglar scenario is in the realm of possibility where the titans would take Ridder and the rumor is true seattle really like Ridder then could see them trying to leap frog the titans to get Ridder.
