It’s always nice when you can have a 1:02 clip of just sacks.

You just described @olsilverhair's definition of a perfect evening.

So are we the best team in the NFL right now?

Just like 2017, not gonna go there, just enjoy the ride, a lot can happen over the next 14 games.

Not apologizing to anyone.  I am still owed an apology from 2016 ( Ruben Randle ) and 2017 ( Foles Super Bowl )

Man, Wentz was god awful in the pocket and has pretty close to zero pocket awareness. Was I just wearing midnight green tinted glasses or has he always been this bad in the pocket?

These last 2 weeks the 2nd half has been pretty boring to watch with the team stalling out and not doing much of anything. Is this a product of jumping out to a sizable lead and just trying to coast through the rest of the game or is this a sign of teams adjusting and the Eagles not able to counter? I think we will have to wait and see when they are in a closer game. Jags have a pretty good defense and may give the offense its best test yet and expect it to be a lower scoring game.

Hurts has this offense playing well. 400+ total offensive yards last 3 weeks, Hurts with 300+ PASSING yards past 2 weeks, and 3 passing TDs this past week. I see his rushing attempts are coming down, from 17 in week 1 to 9 this past week. I would like for him to stay in the 5-9 range. Hurts is a great runner, but it's a long season and he was banged up by the end of last year and then couldn't do anything in the playoffs.

Watkins and Pascal both have specific roles, and they are playing them so well right now. I love seeing DeVonta Smith with a big game and it goes to show defenses will have to pick their poison with Smith or Brown. Browns 1st TD showed how much we have missed a physical receiver in the RZ. Goedert is a YAC machine, they need to feed him some more too.

What was that play call the Birds got a safety on? Who the hell asks Boston Scott to carry the ball out of the end zone? I know they struggled to run the ball all game, but just punch it up the middle with Hurts or Sanders. I still think the lack of RB depth will end up biting them in the ass further down the road. Sanders is likely to miss a good amount of time, Gainwell is a JAG, and Scott doesn't do much for me.

Defense played well all game. Davis made some plays on the stat sheet, and clogged the middle a good amount. This game showcased some of that potential he has as a pass rusher. DL was relentless and the DB's kept everything in front. Enjoying a more aggressive scheme this year, and competent LBers.

Enjoying the growth from Hurts and seeing him develop his passing game. Birds are 3-0 baby!

Ok so which cartoon universe are we in now?

GoT was awesome until the creators decided they had better things to do and cut every possible corner to get it over with.

They definitely rushed the last 2 seasons.

Are the Cowboys going to restructure his deal and pay him less ??

@LeanMeanGM  I see a trap game this week.  Jags - 22, Eagles - 19.

Bonus:  Dougie P. converts no fewer than 2 4th downs on no fewer than 3 attempts before the 4th quarter begins.

I do think the Jags are loving DP and they will bring it for him this week.  I still think we win because the d-line has woken up.

Birds 27

I almost felt bad for Wentz.  But then as soon as I started feeling bad I remember that he totally quit on the team and franchise like a child

You know there had to be a moment (maybe 9 moments) where he thought to himself "man I f'ed up, how did I wind up here?"

Sometimes life is stranger than fiction

Seriously though why is he doing this?  For the love of god, JP, find a hobby and retire

I forgot... the JP revenge game... do we have any former eagles on PIT (I guess Hargrave will be extra motivated).

At the very least, he’s shown things that many of us said he could never do. We’ll see where it goes from here.

He's had 2 good games.  I am pleased with those 2 good games. He has to do it consistently and the team has to have success.  Wentz played at an MVP level for 11 games in 2017 and led the NFL in TD passes.  Wentz isn't that player anymore.  Part of it is due to the punishment his body has taken.  He is much slower in the pocket.  Look at Wilson last night.  He can sling it but he was struggling in the pocket and struggled to escape pressure.  I hope we see 15+ more games this season with Hurts playing like he did on Sunday and last Monday.  I don't think continued success is a given.

Eagles have the #1 ranked offense and #5 ranked defense.  Although likely the Cowboys leapfrog us for that #5ranked defense after tonight.

The William Dunkle revenge game

That would be great, and I will admit I was wrong about his projection.  But apologizing makes no sense.

I'm going to call out and question your character if you don't apologize :flex:

Jalen Hurts has had 3 good games. The Eagles don't beat the Lions week 1 without Jalen Hurts' performance in that game.

Apologize?  For what exactly?   Was I asking for apologies when Jalen Reachor turned out to be a bum?  Even though there were a lot of posters in here getting all defensive?  What about Pumphrey?  Davion Taylor?  JJAW?   Why would a poster need to apologize to another poster about an opinion? That’s one of the dumbest things I’ve read in a long time.

I was just conducting a joint troll post.

Eagles 24

Jags 20

Bonus: Jalen Hurts takes out his phone at halftime to apologize to the EMB for terrible cheesesteaks he made during the offseason.

What you need to do, is misunderstand a few posts.  Call out and question my character then backtrack, apologize and disappear.  That's the angle.

It might take me a few tries. Be patient

The O-Line was pretty brutal week one.  Hurts is a big reason we won using his legs

I would love to hear how PFF justifies actually fumbling the ball as not turnover worthy :roll::roll::roll::roll:

I'm guessing it has already been noted but in case it hasn't, the Eagles were very fortunate to have that last second touchdown at the end of the first half count. There were eighteen seconds on the clock prior to the failed third down run. From the moment Kelce snapped the ball on third down until the moment he snapped the ball on fourth down, a little more than nineteen seconds (call it about 19.1) had elapsed. The Eagles really didn't get that ball off in time.
