Say what you want about Dobbs…but the guy plays with a passion to win.  Hard not to root for a guy like that.

I've suggested Dobbs as an inexpensive backup for a few years now. I think he's just what you want behind Hurts.

They are in a 'prove it' situation.  They have flamed out in the playoffs too many times in recent history for anything other than a wait and see effect.

 

 

And Josh Dobbs just earned himself a position as a backup QB in the NFL for as long as he wants to be a backup QB.  I don't think he'll ever be a full time starter for a team that turns the keys over to him... but he's going to earn himself a really nice living as a backup... Ryan Fitzpatrick style.   Good for him.

I live in Bears country so I picked up Bagent as a backup on my fantasy team weeks ago…thinking he would get a shot and there’s a lot of hype around him in Chicago.  My thinking was I could get one of the Bears fans in the league I run to want him in a trade.  I was right.  

I traded him after his win straight up for Stroud.  I thought I was being smart

But then I started Tua over Stroud.  I’m not as smart as I thought I was

Well, the point is that MIN just can’t get bad enough to be in position to draft pedigreed QBs… as an aside depending on how things go CHI might have #1 and #2, so #2 would be for sale.

Would love to know the analytics of being up 2, going for 2 and just kneeling it. I get the Texans don’t have a kicker but the probability of just trying to rush it has to be way greater than the other team somehow getting a 98 yard return off something stupid.
