You can't look at it that way....we can have all the tiebreakers....means nothing without having at least the same record as the other team.

Btw... once you have head to head , nothing else matters, that's all you need.

There wasn’t even a need…it was practically only potential scenario the Lions had. The refs kind of messed us on seeing the inevitable final matchup…they were going to throw a pass to Jameson…and a pass to Gibbs. An Adorre Jackson moment of truth. Scary how far things could flip.

Hunh? He had 5 catches for 107 yards....awesome stats.... that led to zero points. The team had basically 6 points.

His catches had zero impact on the game. What had impact, was ee stopped him from running all over us. If he had 107 on the ground, would hsve actually had impact.... as seen where they scored their only TD on a drive that was 2 play action passes.

This just might turn out to be a pretty good D

We didn't stop it...he had a monster game catching the ball . Yet they scored 6 points.

I mean, common sense would say it didn't really matter. But somehow watch Ham spin it. Even in his hypothetical if they got the ball back... and if he scored an 80 yard receiving TD and ended up with 190 yards receiving.... you still have a team that scores 31 points per game only getting 16. 3 of which a gift from our coach.

So how does Gibbs catching the ball become the most important thing.... it was basically the only thing that worked. Last night absolutely proved how it isn’t the most important thing.

You are 8-2 ... they are 6-3-1. That's a one and a half game lead. If they win 2 more games than you...they end up a half game ahead. You don't add up tiebreakers and think you are 2 and a half games ahead.

Plus again....you don't need any other tiebreaker, once you have the head to head.

Nope...in none world but your own... do we have a 2 and a half game lead over Green Bay. It's one and a half that basically functions as a 2 game lead being that we have the tiebreaker.

Final Lions Game Score Prediction Results

First, there is a correction to last week's Results. @joemas6 was not listed with his correct Bonus prediction of "One of the new guys on defense gets a sack or turnover." Jaelan Phillips did have a recovered fumble.

Now, on to this week's results. A total of 56 predictions were recorded with 20 for a Lions win and 36 for an Eagles win.

@Talkingbirds prediction of an Eagles 17-14 win was the closest, and wins the chicken dinner. @Casey @ Bat hit on the Eagles' 16 points, but had the Lions with 20.

It was a very creative week for Bonus picks. They definitely were entertaining to read. Here are the ones that were correct or close to correct

@BigEFly got his half right with "Cooper with a catch, Coop with one too (thanks, lions)" If he had said "Cooper with a hitch" he'd have gotten both.

@jamiller's "Eagles with 2 takeaways" gets the Sirianni stamp of approval. Nick sees the 4th down denials as turnovers.

@rrfierce had "We only score 3 points in the first half"

Monday Morning Eagles-Cowboys Second Game Score Predictions

Week Twelve has the 129th Regular Season meeting between the Eagles and Cows. The current Regular Season series stands at Eagles with 58 wins, the Cowboys with 71 wins. They have also met 4 times in the Playoffs with the Eagles winning once and the Cowboys winning 3 times. So the overall record is Eagles 59 wins and the Cowboys 74 wins.
