Johnny Wilson.

Right now the only numbers available for a TE are 21, 37, 46, 47, and 85. Also, according to chatGPT, 46 is unofficially retired for Jon Dorenbos which can't be right.

This nonsense of "retiring" numbers has really jumped the shark when a number for a freaking long snapper is being held.

Get rid of this nonsense already and make ALL numbers available FOREVER!

First of all, a first round pick in 2028 is much more valuable than Boutte and a 2nd in 2027. Second, do people even do any research before they say things these days? Smitty, Lemon, Wicks, Hollywood, Moore, Cooper, Wilson, etc etc. Boutte is the number 4 WR on this team AT BEST. It makes zero sense.

If they get Boutte, it's to try and flip him. A few weeks ago, he would have been the 2nd best receiver on the team (minus AJ). Ha. I think he's worth at least an early 4th to someone. From what I have been seeing, he's looked at as 3rd WR on a good team. Dotson fetched a late 3rd rounder, but had 2 years left on deal. Howie has a plan here. Can't wait to see it. Especially the vet safety he's acquiring after June 1.

Howie has improved the musical talents of this roster. I didnt know James-Newby was The Weeknd

Lemon had 2 weird camera moments at the combine, and immediately after being drafted with the Stevie Wonder head movements.

But his press conferences he was normal, talked about his family, motivations, dedication to teamwork and other things. He seemed normal in those. They're posted in the topic for his draft pick.

Yes, some people thought Carson Strong was better than Jalen Hurts

Strong was better than Hurts. Still is.

Also, its hilarious how Wicks is suddenly so good around these parts. But Boutte is a nobody apparently.

This offseason has been the happiest of Hurts life.

I like the tradition in CFB and Soccer of specific numbers being reserved for stars, so the number means something and it almost has the expectation of its legacy on the wearer.

Like, how great would it be if #92 was given to a pass rusher after a couple seasons with double digit sacks?

I’d take Boutte as a throw in in the deal but you are valuing him way too highly if you’re passing on a future 1 to take him with a 2027 2.

And for the record, it would also be a terrible decision to take Wicks and a 2027 2 over a 2028 1.

Reportedly the Patriots were shopping Boutte for a day 3 pick btw.

BARK

Boutte is a fine WR4. WR3 if you feel inclined.

I dont care about the draft 2 years from now. Its already too long to wait for next years.

Id possibly prefer Woodson as the throw in. But I appreciate the fact that Boutte was once tought to be a 1st round talent. And began to break out last year in New England as a starting X WR for the championship contenders. Is he great? No. Is he a satisfactory starter who fills a role we need? Yes. We have no starting quality X on the roster unless youre makign Smith that and I didnt think that was the plan.

1.Watson, 2.Reed, 3.Doubs,4. Golden, 5. Wicks....was the WR5 on a shiddy WR corps. Hes Jabar Gaffney again. People thought we could take this WR off someone's bench and make him a quality starter just by giving him the opportunity. Wicks is not that guy...

Yeah. Smith, Lemon, Boutte. That would be 3. And Boutte would align at the X position which is not on our roster. So he fills a need and would be a smart addition. Thanks for attending class.

Right now the Eagles are +120 to win the division. Best odds in the division.

Taking your personal feelings of the individual players out of it, what do you think the odds would be if the Eagles and Cowboys swapped QBs? Just curious.

Yep, great progress. Now start giving out 12, 25, 91, etc.

Also, poor Stowers. Dude worse 9 in college and gets jumped for the number by Lemon. Right now his choices are 85 and a couple of **** numbers in the upper 40's.

Yeah if the first QB to lift the trophy in Philly has his number in play they should as well. Shady was good but not retire the number good. Same with Randall.

Honestly, 92 left us for GB. Time to open that up as well.

This 72-22 with over 4 minutes left in an NBA playoff game between the Knicks and Hawks has me on the edge of my seat
