He is human garbage. I believe that people deserve second chances when they make mistakes. Getting loaded and then driving nearly 150 MPH in a residential area is not a mistake, it's a choice. He chose to do what he did and as a result a women and her dog were not only killed but trapped in a car that caught on fire so they may have suffered greatly in their death. I wouldn't want him on the Eagles for anything.

Wouldn't he face a NFL suspension before he could be eligible to play? What Vick did was awful but there's a cultural context to it that made it more understandable. Vick was also believably remorseful. I think Ruggs's crime was worse and I am not sure how remorseful he is.

I get that. The offense has not been as dynamic the day Tyreek left and Mahomes numbers went south significantly since Tyreek. Chiefs won those last 2 Superbowls due to the defense primarily. Mahomes was in an other worldly path at one point. Right now. Hard to say where this goes. I see a 31 year old with a serious knee injury that will never reach his prime again and getting paid crazy money for past achievements of 2022 and before.

The earlier Chiefs teams could outscore anyone regardless of their defense. Under 100 QB rating in 3 straight years and average of 25 TD passes at same time. I wouldn't say this is an amazing stat line with an HOF play caller to boot. This could be a Russell Wilson story, where he was killing it and then became an average Joe starting in his age 32 season. Will see. And Wilson didn't have the serious knee injury as an extra hurdle.

There's no world where Howie was giving him another deal, and AJ knew it. So he accelerated his exit, hoping to maximize his payday with a big statistical year in a pass heavier offense.

If I'm Howie, this year is a prove it year for Jalen Carter. I just dont think hes earned that mega contract yet. And he had 2 bum shoulders last year. I need to see the 2024 version of him before I am all in and invest here long term. This year should really be a year for observation overall to see who the keepers are. If he takes a home town discount I would look at it. I'd say $32-35M per is plenty of money for him.

I've been saying it since he was arrested and also last summer when it seemed like he might be out the next year (this year), that Ruggs will be an Eagle. I was of course mocked for it at the time as I often am when I am ahead of the curve with things like this that later come true.

This franchise has a track record of taking shots on guys to give them a second chance. He is DeVonta's best friend and this organization holds DeVonta in very high regards. Plus he obviously gives the Eagles that top end speed option to make defenses respect him deep to open other things up for the offense that they have been trying to fill for years and now most recently with Hollywood Brown.

With Hurts and DeVonta I think they would feel they have a good support system in place for Ruggs. It all comes down ultimately to how Big Dom assesses it all. But I have always felt and still do now especially with AJ gone that Ruggs will ultimately land in Philly.

He gets the whole season. You want as much info as possible going into this offseason on whether he's the future or not.

I saw Uar Bernard's presser from yesterday on FB and man, I know not to expect anything but he is just such a likeable dude and seems so humble. Said he doesn't even go out to explore the city, he just studies the playbook. Extremely easy dude to root for and while he may never be a star I hope he can find a role here as a rotational piece in a year or two when he's settled in

I don’t know if Mailata has gotten enough credit for his intangibles. Playing through pain, building relationships with teammates, being consistently obsessed with football. These are just as much "you have it or you don’t” as the physical piece.

If he can handle that stuff, I think he’ll be fine if we manage him right.
