Hey everyone, sorry I've been so absent. Everything's actually going pretty well but the past 18 months of caregiving and other personal things have just gotten me out of the habit of being at the com

Nooooo.... I was hoping they would keep Wright, at least on the practice squad

Cooper definitely making it over Wilson. If they keep 6 I hope Moore does too

It would be great to see Cooper be able to contribute. I think they can get Wilson and Moore through to the practice squad. Moore may be one of those veteran cuts where he gets re-signed after final cut downs.

They should've given cooper a shot at being WR3 instead of drafting lemon. Even going back to last year they had chemistry. With lemon missing so much he may be WR3 anyway

Cooper is Greg Ward 2.0.

My sixth WR would definitely be Covey. He's consistently underrated by fans. Unfortunately I think they only keep five at most, and possibly only four.

Roster cuts are going to be extremely tricky this year because they have a surplus at QB (no way they're keeping all four), TE (Goedert and Stowers are locks/Mundt seems to have value/and Latu is a demon on ST), and OL (they have a LOT of young guys they've invested in already). It's very difficult to make the math work at these positions while stocking the rest of the roster.

I also think it's almost a certainty that they won't carry a LS on their 53-man roster the first few weeks of the season. They'll activate one (either Underwood or one of the veterans they had last year...or even someone who gets cut by another team) off the PS for games for as long as they can.

They should re-do the Mean Joe Greene Coke commercial with Lampkin and Mailata.

Lemon either got out of shape after his season ended or was never in shape. 3 months of hamstring trouble is a serious problem. I have first hand experience of this injury on both hammies the past 40 years. I would consider putting him on recallable IR to start the season. It's 4 weeks from Sunday and he could tear it if he tries to come back too soon and would be out for the year. Eagles need to wait until he's healed and that could take another month or two. It's already been 3 months. A shame they didn't realize he wasn't mature enough to stay in shape before they spent a 1st and two 4th rounds picks on him. Carter and Davis all over but the difference is Lemon has to use his hamstrings to push off hard in making quick cuts in the slot. It's a worse injury for a wr or db

a 5ft 10, 180lb Safety is bullying a TE

I mean yes but at least Carter had to break up the catch.

Admittedly i don’t follow TC ‘reports’ (if you can even call them reports) super closely. He had a drop i saw, but outside of that he was running crisp and quick routes from what i gathered. I think the injury is grossly taking the convo to places it shouldn’t be…yet. I also think most of us viewed the pick as a ‘for tomorrow’ thing. Most of the talk post draft that wasn’t slamming him was how he was going to get reps. Could he beat out Brown for reps at the #4 as he eases his way into the league.

A 'for tomorrow' thing? That's not how I've been led to think of him. The comparisons I've heard over and over were that he was in the Puka Nacua/Amon-Ra St. Brown type of mold. Puka went 10 for 119 in his first NFL game, 15 for 147 in his second. and has dominated ever since. Amon-Ra finished his first season with a dominating 6 game stretch with at least 8 catches and 73 yards each game.

Those guys are exceptional WRs and I am certainly not expecting their type of production out of Lemon, really ever, but I will be disappointed if he is not at least a meaningful contributor at some point this season ... if 'for tomorrow' means later in his rookie season rather than right away, that's fine, but I do want to see it in 2026.

The TD/Turnover split is pretty amazing.

Foles in 2013 had his 27 TD and 2 INT season in 13 games, and was considered a great season. 2,891 yards, 64% completion.

Hurts last year had 24 TD, 2 INT, 3,224 yards, 64.8% completion in 16 games. Plus 421 rush yards and 8 rush TDs. And people say he sucked. No, it wasn't good enough and yes we want better - for the entire offense as well. But just interesting to compare.

Obviously there’s still time. But Howie’s run of good drafts is in serious question. Both 2025 and 2026 littered with projects and questions.

Last year they were coming off a SB win and managed to get a top LB prospect in Campbell, who many believe is set for a breakout year. He's still going to play next to Baun and by the time Baun leaves Campbell and Trotter Jr will be the guys. Mukuba was the starting safety as a rookie, and should only improve. He probably won't be some stud player but solid enough to start, next to elite corners. A lot of people like the Ty Robinson pick at the time, he just hasn't worked out which happens. There are some guys for depth. So if you win the SB and get a stud LB and starting safety and some depth that's pretty good.

This year everyone kept saying it was a weak draft class. There is potential for Lane's replacement in Bell. Lemon and Stowers are depth to develop, not expected to be starter quality day 1. Let's hope they get healthy and learn as rookies and by next year are contributing. Micah Morris should be a good depth piece, and you never know he could develop into a starter as well. And the international athletes they took a chance on, we'll see in a few years if either of them can turn into something. I do agree it's not a great draft class to be excited about, but again people said it was a weak draft class. Part of the plan was acquiring picks next year in what is supposed to be a better draft class.

"Doing a really good job,” Sirianni said. "You can see how quickly he’s getting through progressions and onto the next read with great footwork.”

"Jalen is a very accurate passer and you’re seeing that continue to shine, just some of the new things that with different footworks that he has to do, particularly under center. You’re just seeing the growth of him daily within this offense and getting more and more comfortable.”

Per Howie, "Hope isn't a strategy." Hoping that Wicks, Cooper, and the other flotsam they had at WR would materialize into legitimate WR2/WR3 wouldn't be acceptable to him. Be happy that the guys are seizing their opportunities. But addressing WR in volume in the spring made perfect sense.

Would be Dillard vs Mailata all over again. Couldn’t bank on Cooper this year, same way you couldn’t have banked on Mailata back then

Hollywood Brown on Makai Lemon: "He's been very engaged since he got here. Even when he can't be on the field he's engaged... you know coming over talking to everyone, asking what they're seeing, he's very engaged. I know when he's ready to take the field he'll be ready to go."
