To think, the Dolphins are missing Howard, Ramsey, Achane, Waddle was banged up and missed a couple of quarters, Long got knocked out. That team is pretty loaded. I really am not confident we win if they have those guys or even a couple of them.

Ehhh. Save that for after a Super Bowl win. Until then, the song should be retired.

yep. Dont need a starter, and we already have backups. The constant calls for a safety trade week after week continue to befuddle me.

Maybe a star LB. Give this D something it doesnt have. Maybe a stud DE who can improve those putrid Barnett snaps.

Or maybe bring our run game back to dominance.

Safety? Makes 0 sense.

Danielle Hunter is days away from being 29. What are the Vikings realistically expecting to get in return for him?

Am I high, or does Tony Dungy look high?

Underrated positive thing that happened today. Giants picked up another win. Washington seems like a better team than them. For NY to pick up another win- those will be tough to come by. They hurt their draft position winning  a game they probably should have lost.

I'd like to see my grandma to take Barnett's snaps, and she's been dead for 5 years now

Nothing against your Grandma I’m sure she was a great lady, I’d still like for it to be Smith

Having to focus only on him, and not him AND Waddle for most of the game sure did help though.

And Achane… that kid is terrifying.

Blankenship, Jurgens and Roby >>>> Ramsey, Howard, Long, Armstead, Waddle, Achane.

Somewhat nervous regarding Hurts and if he ends up on the injury report. He definitely tweaked something in the first half but it didn’t seem to slow him down in the second half. Hoping it’s nothing of concern.

The 3-3 Bucs would make the playoffs if they started today.  The NFC is very weak.

Both, probably.

Howie Roseman gets a gold star for tonight.  His defensive blue print played out to perfection.  Over-invest in a front 4 that stops the run and generates its own pressure; that's the only way to stop one of these inevitability passing attacks.

The DL wiped the run game off the map, allowed Desai to lighten the box drop into deeper coverage.  Steady pressure took care of the rest.

That blueprint probably does more to enable QBs like Zach Wilson and Mac Jones, but also will do more to bring the Mahomes and Tua's of the world down to the level they are raising Jones/Wilson.

Yeah and the reason they even used that song to begin with in 2017 was because half the team was hurt and the song is about overcoming adversity, etc

More thoughts on the trade possibilities.

I can understand the want for a CB. But I dont think Howie does that.

Bringing in Pettine, and then a CB who likely supplants Slay rather than Bradberry... I dont think we treat Slay that way.

Team captain. Big love affair getting him to come back in the offseason. I think its a morale thing that you dont mess with.

Dont need a safety, and CB isnt happening.

LB, DE, RB are the moves to look for.

If we beat Dallas in 2 weeks, we're going to win the division without too much difficulty.

Achane was the biggest one. He changes the entire dynamic on how you deal with their speed at WR.

True, but the Eagles are without their starting safety, their HOF RT was no where near 100%, the QB is clearly dinged up, their #1 WR got dinged, #2 WR was dealing with a hamstring, RG is on IR, played a slot corner who wasn't on the team last week and so on.

The Dolphins are good but so are the Eagles. The Eagles are playing C+/B- level football right now and battling injuries at every position. Maybe this is what they are but it still just feels like they need to find their groove and once they do they should be winning with ease.

by the way, I saw Josh Allen miss throws on his own today without pressure. He will do that. And we will also pressure him and make him miss some more.

Still a few more weeks to tune up for that one.

I think we will be ready.

After tonight, this really tough 7 game stretch isnt looking quite as daunting.

Miami really met us at the perfect time (for them) while we are still quite sloppy, as well as injured. And we still overcame. Convincingly.

Each week this team gets stronger. That has to be a scary thing for the league.

Let’s say we go 3-3 in the rest of that stretch, unlikely to be significantly worse than that. We’re a 9-5 team coming out of that, and likely win 11-12 games on the year. And That’s only worst case scenario because we’re Fing good (hopefully we don’t have multiple turnovers every week)

Reverse racist :nonono:

(unlike grandma, who was just the regular kind)

@EagleJoe8 had a score of 32-17 😍 only one point away from the two team total ... unfotunately it was Miami with the 32.  @EaglePhan1986 was also within 1 of the two team total, but his 26 was 5 under the Eagles score and his 23 was 6 over the Dolphins score.  @Cochis_Calhoun calhoun had the Dolphins 17 right, but his 27 was 4 under the Eagles actual score. @jwill2420 at 31-21 and @mattwill at 31-13 both had the Eagles score right, and were both 4 points away from the Dolphins' 17.  Neither of their tiebreakers were correct, so they share the chicken dinner!  NOTE: apologies for the third person references to myself.

From the first seven games the chicken dinner has gone to:
@Alphagrand in Week One
@Iggles25 and @bbabraham in Week Two
@Cliftoma in Week Three
@Casey @ Bat in Week Four, and
@Mike030270 and @Texas Eagle in Week Five
@GoEagles5921 in Week Six
@jwill2420 and @mattwill in Week Seven

The Bonus pick results this week had the following winners:

@wussbasket with "Eagles get 3+ sacks and no Dolphins player gets more than 55 rushing yards"
@Cochis_Calhoun with "Put it in the book"
@DEagle7 with "Gainwell has less YPC than Swift but gets a TD"
@hputenis with "Hurts has a fumble and an interception"
@Diehardfan with "Hurts fumble"
@EagleJoe8 with "Hurts has 2 more turnovers"

Here are all 77 predictions in score order

Gainwell’s TD was the most Gainwell thing I’ve seen. Guy has to do a figure eight going into the end zone. Can never just get the yardage needed moving forward.

Nice point with the Niners down the road.

Good bounce back game for Jalen, especially being hurt. He could've easily went into a slump after the INT then the 3 and out but he really got back up on the horse and (basically) led three straight TD drives.

Still has some stuff to clean up but a good sign.

And the Saints are 3-4, currently slotted for pick 11. Eagles are looking at pick 43 in the draft as of now.
