Browns making a game of it in Seattle.

Browns are a QB away from being a scary team

Damn, Saints won today.

Sort of sucks we are 7-1 and have to play for the division lead next week still lol.

I do think it's worth mentioning that it's a week to week league. Teams that play bad one week can look good the next week. KC down 11 to Denver right now. Doesn't mean KC can't win the Super Bowl.

Other than injuries, all that matters are wins.

You have a good perspective. Its been a weird 7-1 since most of the games feel like preseason as this immensely talented squad is still working on finding its A game.

I get the frustration and I am in on that frustration on most game days but its way better to be a sloppy 7-1 than a sloppy 5-3.

That has to be an all-time performance.

They beat the Colts who are 3-5.

Maybe Kenny Moore is up for sale?

Bummer - draft pick downgrade.

A big intangible in the league is winning games that you probably shouldn’t. The Vikings lived off that last year, even though I wouldn’t put the Eagles in that same boat since a lot of their issues are self-inflicted. But there was a time that this team would always lose games like today and the first WAS game. Especially during the Reid era. It’s a testament to Sirianni and the leadership on this team that they tend to right the ship more times than not in games like today. Hurts was poised. That game was one terrible turnover that we’ve been seeing from him these past few weeks from getting out of control but he just kept his head down and made throws.

Yeah I see them finishing with a middling record, more or less where they are now at 4-4.

Eighth different back-7 combination in eight games.

I am sure some continuity going forward will help.

Today was just one of those days too. They always, always struggle against Washington. One thing that popped out was Josh Sweats burst off the line. I think he's got a huge run of sacks coming up.

I was hoping for a top-40, but there a lot of bad teams out there.

Brought to you by Howie robbing some hapless GM who got fired a few months later...

@Mortimer had a predicted score of 41-24 which is 10 aggregate points away from the two team total of 69.  @Diehardfan with his predicted score of Eagles 26 Washington 34 was only 9 aggregate points from the 69 point total, but having the wrong outcome puts him behind @Mortimer   Next closest was@eaglestime34 who had an 11 and @Outlaw had a 12.  Honorable mention to @bpac55 and @just relax for getting the 38 Eagles points correct.  Their 14 predicted Commies points was not so good though

So, for the first eight games the chicken dinner has gone to:
@Alphagrand in Week One where the 66 recorded predictions were 65 for an Eagles win and 1 for a Patriots win
@Iggles25 and @bbabraham in Week Two where the 71 recorded predictions were 56 for an Eagles win and 15 for a Vikings win
@Cliftoma in Week Three where the 77 recorded predictions were 73 for an Eagles win and 4 for a Buccaneers win
@Casey @ Bat in Week Four where the 75 recorded predictions were 72 for an Eagles win and 3 for a Commanders win
@Mike030270 and @Texas Eagle in Week Five where the 78 recorded predictions were 63 for an Eagles win and 15 for a Rams win
@GoEagles5921 in Week Six where the 82 recorded predictions were 79 for an Eagles win and 3 for a Jets win
@jwill2420 and @mattwill in Week Seven where the 76 recorded predictions were 46 for an Eagles win and 30 for a Dolphins win, and
@Mortimer in Week Eight where the 70 recorded predictions were 66 for an Eagles win and 4 for a Commanders win

The Bonus pick results this week had the following winners:

@WentzFan11 with "Brown goes over 125 again"
@BigEFly with "Brown gets 125 to beat out Megatron in the record books"
@Diehardfan with "Hurts fumble"
@BDawk_ASamuel with "Julio Jones TD"
@Ace Nova with "Julio Jones TD"

The final 70 predictions were:

Taking the defense out of this, my biggest concern with the Eagles is the amount of turnovers they are having. You can’t have multiple turnovers with the stretch of games they have coming up. Your about to face Dallas, at Kansas City, versus Buffalo, versus the Niners, at Dallas, and at Seattle. That is as brutal of a six game stretch as you’ll ever see in the nfl. All those teams have opportunistic defenses to create those type of turnovers. An If you turn the ball over multiple times and don’t take care of the ball, they all have offenses that can make you pay for it. They were able to do it against Miami but Miami has a mediocre defense and was down Ramsey and Howard so could make up for it. If they turn the ball over multiple times (heck like the Super Bowl with the chiefs just one time) they might not be so fortunate

@eagle45 is seeing it right before our eyes. This secondary is a huge problem. It’s either that or Desai, and I’m kind of scared that it’s actually not Desai.

Sorry if this has already been covered. @mikemack8 was at Costco buying some whips and chains for @EaglePhan1986 so he could have some entertainment.

Why am I getting lumped into yours and mikemacks tummysticks nights. I’m sure you being able to get those things at the same place you get your kids diapers makes it convenient.

Also we should just play Tampa 2 or Cover 3 every play. No one in our secondary can cover anyone

I can’t believe Washington put Forbes on Brown again. AJ owns him.

sorry if already posted...or if fake.
