Notre Dame's biggest problem was converting back to back first downs on their final possession but getting them in one play each. I'm not saying you try to only get nine yards on first down, but you're actually better off getting nine yards. You have to think you'll get the final yard on one of your next two plays. You want to eat time off the clock, and the more plays you can run the better off you'll be. And then they threw the incomplete screen pass to stop the clock again.

The Irish deserved to lose. Ohio State was the better team and they made the plays when they had to. Kudos to them.

ND offensive coaching was especially that final drive. Two pass plays as you were beating up the D line was just dumb. 

Doesn't help ND only had 10 men on the field for the final two plays. 

Not sure being a HC requires a lot of intelligence anymore 

 

 

People talk about us having an easy early schedule and we should be 8-0 or 7-1.....wtf, Dallas has the Giants, Jets and Cardinals to open the season?  And they don't have to play the Chiefs or Bills and still have the Panthers.  Eaaashh.....Dallas really may go 14-3'ish.  I think our only hope is that we sweep them, Washington sweeps Dallas and we sweep Washington.  Otherwise, the Eagles can have a great year at 12-5 and still not win the division.  And don't get me started on the 49ers schedule. This has a Phillies/Braves/Dodgers feel to it.

They play the Bills. The teams they don’t have to play are Chiefs, Bucs, Vikings, which they play Chargers, Lions, Saints instead. We get Bills, Chiefs, Vikings, Dolphins, 49ers all at home. We have the easier schedule

Cowboys play the Bills Dec 17, in Buffalo.  All NFC East play all the teams in the AFC East this year.
