I think this team is closer to a 10-7 one, rather than a 12 - 5 one. Maybe even 9 - 8.

The TE room is bad behind an old, injured and almost washed Goedert. The S room is pretty much BLAH. No playmakers there. The WR room, behind Smitty, is a bunch of slow smurfs who will struggle to get open.

Safety is a position where consistency is much more valuable than flash. CJGJ was definitely a flashy playmaker. But was he consistent?

To draw a parallel at a slightly different position, how many interceptions in the regular season does Q have? Does that number make him blah?

Finally, in the 20% to 25% of snaps where the D is in Base, DeJean is one of the two Safeties. Is DeJean not a playmaker?
