Good to know like I stated was unsure how he was as a STer just knew that Latu was talked as one of our better STers last season makes for a much more interesting battle between the two guys.

I believe Fred Johnson is a poor attributes match to Mannion’s scheme, but a good match to other NFL schemes and Howie will look to trade him and pick up a cut casualty OT who matches the needs of the Mannion scheme better. But he won’t be in any rush to do so. So my roster is

RB - 3 - 6

WR - 6 - 12 with Moore in and Covey to the PS

TE - 3 - 15 with Mundt and Latu behind Goedert

OL - 11 - 26 with 5 starters plus Bell, Kendall, Lampkin, Morris, Majors, and Fred or his replacement.

Edge - 6 - 32 includes 5 plus Weru

DT - 6 - 38 includes 5 plus Bernard

LB - 4 - 42 Chance Campbell was my Final Cut

Kicker - 1 - 43

Punter - 1 - 44

DBs - 9 - 53

Mundt and Latu are basically useless if Goedert goes down. Both are blockers not really pass catchers, that's why we got Stowers. No way Howie puts his 2nd rounder on the PS. If you did may as well just kiss him goodbye

Steele needs another impressive game. OR we limit his touches so he becomes less desirable for other teams and drop him on the PS. I just can't see Howie putting Stowers on the PS

From the reports I heard it's not looking promising for Stowers to contribute much in a helpful way. I'm thinking IR for a hangnail or bruised (Not a knock on Stowers lol) uterus. I believe Stowers will make a nice weapon once healthy.

If DG goes down Howie will have a week to address that hole with a player other than Mundt or Latu.

He wouldn’t be able to get Stowers through waivers, so PS is not an option

Stowers will be/should be ready at some point. You're not going to find a fill in for Goedert. It would take time for anyone coming in to learn things. You're talking about 2-3 weeks. I don't see bringing in anyone of value. The offense would just need to alter itself with those snaps going elsewhere if Stowers is still lagging IMO

She had morals and integrity. Two things now on the endangered species list. I was never a fan, not into country but she always had my utmost respect. Always thought the jug jokes were very cheap, lame and undignified.

You'd have to cut one after week 3 anyway, so let's just get it out of the way and concentrate on the team we have. I don't think we need to extend pre season 3 more weeks as a distraction. I've never known any team to PS their LS. Set the 53 and let's get on with it, so obviously we disagree. I don't need 2 guys at each others throat knowing after the season starts ,1 wins and gets on the 53 and the other goes to the PS. I don't like that distraction. I don't believe that would be fair to the players either.

You might not have to cut anyone after Week Three depending on what the injury realities are in those first three games. Keep your options open.

Does anyone have safety Gushiken making 53? I know he's had a nice camp. But can he over come his height deficit against the big dog WR's?

You are joking. Stowers will be ready at some point? What is this Fantasy league? We need a productive second tight end, above all positions right now for this offense to function. Maybe Howie can trade for one. Perhaps Raiders? Maybe Rams? Because currently we only have one tight end, and we have a lot of barely functional Third level TE. In my opinion this is by far the most glaring hole. Stowers can not block. I do not know what he will be able to do, but I do not see him contributing this year at all.
